- Drake & Josh: Jake Puckerman and Miguel are stepbrothers. Jake's younger sister is Astrid, and Miguel's father is Aku Aku.
- The Flash (2014): Spyro the Dragon is struck by lightning and becomes the fastest man alive.
- Fraggle Rock: (France) Red Skull periodically travels to the workshop of Adult!Champion to receive a postcard from his uncle Remington Steele. Most of the time, Red Skull goes on adventures with his friends Emma Peel, P.T. Flea, Michael Knight, and Granni Gummi. Occasionally, the characters get advice from the living trash heap Claudette Wyms.
- (Apple TV+ dub): Hiro Hamada visits a workshop to receive a postcard from his uncle Glumshanks. Hiro also goes on adventures with his friends Roxanne, Adrien Agreste, Mr. Piranha, and Queen Dagmar.
- Friends: Kira (later Toxica), Janine Melnitz, Mimi Tachikawa, Xander Harris (later Archie Andrews), Wayne Campbell (later Sam Speed), and Kif Kroker are six friends living in New York City.

- Glee: Daxter is in charge of the glee club at McKinley High. Season five starts off with a tribute to star quarterback Jeremy Johnson. - The Nanny: After being fired by her ex in a crushing scene, Maggie becomes the Nanny of a rich family composed of the Father, Arthur Hasting and his children: Ariel, Samwise Gamgee, and Phoebe Halliwell. She also work with their butler, Owl and Hasting's jealous associate, Diane Lockhart.
- Out of Jimmy's Head: After receiving a brain transplant, Astro Boy imagines various cartoon characters such as Iago, Demona, MacGyver and Lord Shen. However, Captain N, the brain donor's grandson, wants to reclaim the brain from Astro. Astro lives at home with his dad Trunks (his mom Lois Lane is off in the military) and alien sister Starfire.
- Party of Five: After the death of his parents, Ratchet now has to watch over his siblings Trixie Carter, Milhouse, and Obi-Wan Kenobi (who's dating Melinda Gordon).
- Pennyworth: Hughie Campbell is a former SAS who operates a private security business and whose loyalty more or less still goes to Queen and Country (and the Queen is Marie Antoinette here).
