While the Team is off to attend the Candy Kingdom funeral, Doc invites his girlfriend to hang out. Her posse is also with her and they all decide to travel to Earth for a simple trip to the market. Needless to say, they are captured by the newest villain to make his mark on the series: Dr. Treluey Siek.
- A Day in the Limelight: Doc and his previously mentioned girlfriend, Amy the Goodra.
- A Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Read: Siek's invention, the 'Siek Helmet' will touch into the group's most carnal and repressed desires. They're not happy about this.
- Accidental Proposal: Amy interpret's Doc's ambiguous question as this.
- Affectionate Nickname: Amy calls Doc "Blue" sometimes.
- Ambiguously Bi: Felicia. And maybe Phoebe and Sal.
- Badass in Distress: The group as a whole.
- Bait-and-Switch: At first, it seems Argost has a porn stash. However, he's actually worried about his exercise equipment stash and security system.
- Beware My Stinger Tail: Siek uses this on Deas.
- Big Eater: Argost, to the point where Doc has to buy some strawberries after he downs a bunch of them in a single gulp. Felicia notes this as a problem, though it's a bit justified due to him working out.
- The Brute: Thaeledus
- Bullying A Scolipede: Yes, Bitch Spasms. Continue to hit the giant Centipede-Centaur with your nose.
- Call-Back: Doc remembers Jerl Hienes and he's cautious about heading to Deas's place.
- Also, Colonel Kernal is mentioned, due to Siek helping him out earlier.
- The Cameo: Dr. Bitch Spasms of Nostalgia Critic fame is Dr. Siek's servant.
- Cloud Cuckoo Lander: Sal.
- Comically Missing the Point: Sal, most of the time.
- Companion Cube: Ralph the cactus to Sal. Justified, considering that she herself is...a cactus.
- Crapsaccharine World: As Phoebe describes why our Earth is different from hers, she starts listing some...rather dark aspects of the Pokemon world.
- Distracted by the Sexy: Thaeledus is won over by Miranda's body. He even joins the group.
- Farm Girl: Sal, again.
- For Science!: Siek wants to study the Pokemon and it doesn't really sound all that sane.
- For Want Of A Nail: All our heroes wanted was a trip to the market...
- Genki Goodra: Amy. Also, Sal.
- Ho Yay: Between Phoebe and Sal.
- Incest Subtext: Felicia and her sister.
- Heel–Face Turn: Aside from Deas (for a while), Thaeledus joins the group.
- I Call It "Vera": Miranda's axe is this, right down to the phrase.
- Interspecies Romance: Doc the intelligent Troodon and Amy the Goodra.
- Also, Argost and Felicia.
- Judging by their interactions, Phoebe and Sal might also be seeing each other.
- Miranda and Thaeledus, later on.
- Kill It with Fire: Thaeledus has a flamethrower attached to his tail.
- Meaningful Name: Dr. Treluey Siek, mad scientist.
- Also, Dr. Deas Sposable, who winds up killed by his master once he does what he was asked to do.
- Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: Miranda, who brings knives to the base in case of cabin fever.
- No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: For helping an elderly man with cutting a cantaloupe and other chores, our heroes are sent to Dr. Siek.
- Non Sequitur, *Thud*: Upon being drugged, each character has this, except for Doc and Amy. In order from the 5-Man Band trope...
- "SIGMUND FREUD!""ROSEBUD!""LA CUCARACHA!"
- "Open!" Says Me: Amy says this when she and the others are freed.
- Percussive Maintenance: Thaeledus tears apart the control panel to free the heroes.
- Playground Song: Sung by Doc to amuse himself when he's alone.
- "31 bottles of wine on the wall, 31 bottles of wine..."
- Power of the Sun: Sal is entranced by it all.
- Pronouncing My Name for You: Siek reminds Phoebe that his last name is pronounced See-Eck. Not Sick.
- Reluctant Mad Scientist: Dr. Deas Sposable decides to betray Siek to free the Pokemon...right before he's killed.
- Rule of Cool: Thaeledus the Gorgonopsid owes much to his Primeval incarnation.
- Slipping a Mickey: Deas Sposable does this to our heroes in order to capture them for Dr. Siek.
- Slasher Smile: On the very cover AND with Dr. Siek.
- The Stoic: Miranda. Though, due to Bitch Spasms...
- Not So Stoic: She ventures into this.
- Suppressed Rage: Hinted at with Doc. Siek proves to be right in the next part...
- Take That!: Dr. Bitch Spasms is an unabashed attack against the cons of the film that the Nostalgia Critic tore part at one point.
- They Called Me Mad!: Siek when he loses his temper.
- Tiny Guy, Huge Girl: Doc and Amy.
- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: No human except Deas notices that their are Pokemon in their midst. Z-Squared came up with the excuse that logic went out the window in the series.
- Through the Eyes of Madness: This is suggested.
- Violence is the Only Option: In order to escape Dr. Siek, this trope comes into play.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Dr. Deas Sposable.
- Would Hurt a Child: Miranda's previous boyfriend, possibly a Delibird, gave out bombs to children. Although, he could have been just stupid.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Once Deas delivers the heroes to Dr. Siek, he's killed for his troubles.
- You're Insane!: The general reaction to Siek.
