    • Archie initially refuses to take the money he earned from the fight that ended in his boxing opponent dying of a drug overdose. He later ends up taking it, to give to his late opponent's family.
    • Gladys leaves town to avoid having her secret found out and so things can cool between her and FP.

  • Wham Line: At the end of the episode, it's revealed that while Hal and some other inmates were being transferred to Hiram's prison, he ended up dying in a bus crash.
  • Wham Shot: Towards the episode's conclusion, we see Elio Grande (Archie's boxing manager) setting up plans with Hiram to get revenge on Archie.
  • What Could Possibly Go Wrong?: Seriously, Betty? You think it a good idea to try and get help from Hiram, even after all he put Archie through?
  • What the Hell, Hero?: FP quite angrily calls out Jughead on keeping him in the dark regarding Gladys' secret drug operation. She reveals that she'd told him to do so, and thus gets chewed out.
