Edits involve something else written on the sign that would offend a certain group, implying that said group too dense to understand it.
• "That's a clean burnin' hell, I'll tell you what!" ^ExplanationIn "Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret Hill", Peggy poses as a nun to teach at a Catholic school and has a nightmare about dooming her students to hell for her lies; Hank happens to be supplying the propane that makes their flames.

I just want a picture of a god-dang hotdog!"^ExplanationIn "Redcorn Gambles with His Future", Hank says this to a print shop employee when trying to print a flyer for a business party. The quote, often paired with a highly-compressed video of the scene, is often used in reaction to someone posting a low-quality or small resolution picture, similar to "What is this? An X for ants?!".

It’s all toilet sounds!”^Explanation In the pilot, Hank is curious about what kinds of music Bobby is listening to, so he takes his headphones, and it turns out that Bobby is listening to a ton of flatulence noises, causing Hank to deliver this line. People have edited the clip and replaced the original “toilet sounds” with modern music, serving as a Take That! to said music.

  • "Yeah, this is it."^Explanation In "Fun with Jane and Jane", this exchange occurs between Hank and some cult members after he and Dale pull up to the compound where a cult masquerading as a sorority is based to rescue Peggy and Luanne. The members and attempted explanation are typically substituted with groups the author dislikes and their typical arguments respectively to imply that they're blatantly lying about their nature or motivations.
• Hank singing country songs^ExplanationThe rise of AI voice generation, especially its boost in capability by mid-2023, has allowed for a new genre of AI impressions of fictional character singing songs. Hank Hill is one of those impressions, and his heavy accent is a perfect fit for country songs (and just so happens to hide the imperfections of the AI). To wit, there are plenty of AI covers using Hank that frankly sound better than they have any right to. These include songs like Your Man, Chicken Fried and Ring of Fire, alongside others.
• It's coming to kill me! It knows I'm a Christian!^ExplanationLuanne screams this when she sees Bobby's newly acquired pet snake slithering towards her.

• Hank's face after showing Bobby how to inhale a cigarette. Mostly because, even though it's an ordinary tobacco cigarette, he looks stoned out of his mind. Hank's giant smile seen for a split-second in another episode also became a bit of a meme, dubbed "Happy Hank."
• Discussing and/or describing the show as if it were an anime.
  • Referring to the show as "the best anime", alongside Cory in the House, partly as a way to troll otaku, but also to poke fun at a legitimate phenomenon where Japanese viewers get into heated debates on whether to watch the show in Japanese or in English with Japanese subtitles, like how Western anime fans argue over watching anime subbed or dubbed.
• When Bill buys a new leaf blower and suggests it has the power of a jetpack. The look of joy on his face when he pretends it's a jetpack, then sheer disappointment when Hank says "It's a leaf blower, Bill, not a jetpack." Also photoshopping Bill pretending it's a jetpack as though he were flying.
• There exists a scene from "Hank's Got the Willies" where Hank, looking for a bathroom, wanders into the wrong room and sees something he'd rather not. It's become popular to edit the scene so that Hank happens upon something scary, threatening, disgusting, or stupid. Other variants on the meme include having Hank magically transport to another world as he opens the door à la Super Mario 64, or having Hank walk in on Principal Skinner about to climb out the kitchen window to buy some steamed hams.
• Referring to video games as "vidya gaems" (or "vidya" for short) comes from how Hank pronounces it.
• "It was back when we didn't know the Russians were incompetent." ^note This line provided by Hank saw a lot of quoting after multiple Russian failures, defeats and embarrassments during their invasion of Ukraine.
• If Hank had a stand, pretty much everyone agrees it would be called Propane Nightmares.
• This exchange between Dale Gribble and John Redcorn gets some mileage online whenever Thanksgiving rolls around:
