Castle is a One Piece Fan Fiction created by mNakahara98. It follows Sanjina, a genderbend version of Sanji, during the event of the Whole Cake Arc.

Plot: Vinsmoke Sanjina's no damsel-in-distress. For she was trained by Owner Zeff who raised her as his daughter. This is the story if Sanji was a woman from the first place. What her life will be? The story begins when Sanjina was taken to Whole Cake Island and what if she determines to change her family, her siblings within several days before getting "hitched"? She wants to escape and for once, she has become a damsel-in-distress as her crews are determined to save her. But her older twin brother Ichiji once told her: "Princess cannot be with pirates."

Recently, Maki, the author, has gotten help from Taffy to complete the remaining chapters. Chapter 33 was released on December 25, 2019, but no new chapters have been added since then.

Currently, it has a spin-off called Cruel Tale. It is about what if Ichiji did succeed overthrowing Judge and Reiji and takes Sanjina as his queen. It is currently in hiatus.

Castle provides examples of:

• Abusive Parents: Judge and Big Mom.
  • Judge has no love for his daughter seemingly and deemed her to be a failure. He still considers her to be one despite her outmatching Yonji. When Niji becomes blind because of a failed surgery, Judge then emotionally abuses him and forces him to hide his blindness, making his severely insecure of his eyes.
  • Big Mom, like in canon, deemed Pudding's third eye to be ugly and beats Chiffon brutally for simply being Lola's twin sister. This goes further when Pudding stops her from attacking Sanjina, Big Mom then decides to try to kill him.
• Action Girl: The first fight that Sanjina got into, which is against Yonji, cause her to cause a dent to his face.
• Adaptational Job Change: Downplayed. Cosette did start as the head chef like in canon but she then becomes Sanjina's Lady-In-Waiting soon after.
• Adaptational Nice Guy: After Sanjina taught them empathy, Niji and Yonji start to behave more pleasant and nicer.
  • Downplayed with Pudding. While he still a manipulative liar, his feelings towards Sanjina are completely genuine since they first met in Chapter 1.
  • Subverted with Ichiji. He acts more like a nice guy than his canon counterpart, considering he is much kinder. However, it actually turns out he is much worse in this.
• Adaptational Villainy: Ichiji takes a more active role of being the main villain.
• Altar Diplomacy: Sanjina is arranged to marry Pudding to create an alliance between the Big Mom Pirates and the Germa Kingdom. But not everyone agrees with it.
• Alternate Universe Fic: In this fan fiction, Sanji is a woman named Sanjina and Reiju and Pudding are men.
• Ambition Is Evil: Ichiji wants the throne and bring the Germa Empire back to its former glory and marrying his sister Sanjina at any cost, even if he has to kill his father and brother.
  Ichiji: I will not support the empire [...] I will create the empire...! [...]Do not try to stop me...
• Arranged Marriage:
  • Sanjina is set to marry Pudding against her will. Similar to canon, they are perfect together but Pudding's Yandere personality, Sanjina wanting to return back to her crew and Ichiji's lust for her make it difficult.
  • Several of the Charlotte siblings are already married as well. Though we have yet to see those marriages, Word of Saint Paul confirmed that the marriages are very loving and happy.
• Assassins Are Always Betrayed: After killing Judge upon Ichiji's request, the Big Mom Pirates nearly got killed by the latter when he commands Germa 66 to kill the crew. Though to be fair, not only they failed to kill Reiji but also tried to kill Sanjina, despite Ichiji told the Yonko crew that she is to be spared.
• Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Surprisingly, Judge actually loves Sanjina and considers her as his daughter despite deeming her as "fragile" and a "failure".
• Ax-Crazy: Pudding is very unstable.
• Badass in Distress: Zeff and the Baratie chefs are attacked by Germa agents. Duval and Gin come in to help defend the Baratie.
• Beauty Equals Goodness: Just look at Sanjina!
• Beauty Is Bad: Ichiji indeed has attractive dimples but this doesn't stop him from regicide and patricide, and attempted fratricide.
• Berserk Button: Several.
  • For Sanjina, they are wasting food and attacking women.
  • For Pudding, it is men simply interacting with Sanjina.
• Beta Couple: Niji and Cosette.
• Big Bad: Big Mom at first glance. It turns out that Ichiji is the real one.
• Big Bad Slippage: Ichiji is first seen as Sanjina's caring, thought terrifying older brother. However, as the wedding is getting closer, he starts to slowly reveal his ambition for the throne, his lust for Sanjina, and resentment towards Judge and Reiji.
• Big Brother Attraction: Inverted. Ichiji is attracted to Sanjina, his younger quadruplet sister, and wants her to be his queen.
• Big Brother Instinct: Played With. When Luffy tried to get Sanjina from the carriage, Yonji, the youngest of the quadruplets, asked her if he can fight Luffy off. Unlike in canon, this is out of concern for Sanjina.
• Big Damn Heroes: Gin and Duval arrived just in time to save the Baratie from Germa agents.
• Blackmail: Just like in canon, Judge threatens Zeff's life if Sanjina doesn't do as he said.
• Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: Niji is a violate and easily angered man as Cosette is a shy and kind woman.
• Cain and Abel: Ichiji is the Cain to Reiji and Sanjina's Abel. Ichiji tries to get Reiji to be killed so he can get the throne.
• Dark and Troubled Past: Like canon, Sanjina was deemed a "failure" in Judge's eyes as she didn't develop superhuman abilities as her brothers did. Not only Judge told this to her face, her quadruplet brothers, mostly Niji and Yonji, viciously bully her to where she has gotten bruised. However, this fan fiction shows that she was then locked away in a tall tower, similar to how Sanji gets locked away in the basement with an iron mask.
• Deadpan Snarker: Like in canon, Ichiji has a dry and sarcastic sense of humor.
  Ichiji: Well..., this is me... caring.
• Death by Childbirth: Judge worries that Sanjina will suffer this when she has children of her own.
• Disabled in the Adaptation: Niji is blind as a result of a botched surgery.
• The Dreaded: Out of all the Vinsmoke Brothers, Ichiji appears to be the most terrifying.
• Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Despite deeming her a "failure", Judge still loves Sanjina and acknowledges her as his daughter.
• The Evil Prince: Ichiji had Judge and Reiji to be assassinated, though unsuccessful to the latter, by the Big Mom Pirates so he can take the throne and marry Sanjina to be his queen.
• Foreshadowing: At Chapter 9, Ichiji gives back Sora's ring to Sanjina by slipping it to her finger. This makes sense of why he would do this as Chapter 31 reveals his true feelings towards her.
• From Bad to Worse: During the wedding, it starts from a failed assassination of Big Mom to Ichiji bringing in the Germa 66 to kill the Charlotte Family and the Straw Hats. Then the Whole Cake Chateau collapsed. Soon after, Big Mom wakes up with a hunger rampage for the wedding cake, which is destroyed.
• Gender Flip: Not only there's a genderbend Sanji it this, but it also applies to Reiju, who is called Reiji, and Pudding, with the name remaining the same.
• Girl in the Tower: As an alternative to being locked in the basement, Sanjina was locked in a tower in this story.
• Goggles Do Something Unusual: The goggles that Niji use actually support his eyesight to a certain extent.
• Green-Eyed Monster: Once getting attached to Sanjina, Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji start to become jealous whenever she interacts with Pudding, starting their growth as his caring brothers. For Ichiji, it was for a much different reason.
  • This applies to Pudding as well. Both the story and Word of God shows that he gets jealous when ANYONE interacts with Sanjina.
• Headphones Equal Isolation: Inverted. Niji has echo-locating headphones due to his blindness.
• Incest-ant Admirer: When Ichiji reveals his feeling for Sanjina to her, she understandingly rejects him, pointing out that they are siblings. He didn't take it well.
• Irony: Judge had scientists to perform eye surgery on Niji to give him a superhuman vision. Instead, it left him to be blind.
• Kick the Dog: Ichiji has done several of these.
  • Word of God states that during childhood, Ichiji cares about Sanjina but has no problem report her "un-royal" behavior to Judge.
  • He also (unsuccessfully) tried to get her to be dependant on him and often dismissed her dreams when she was in the tower.
  • He tried to get Pudding to drop the marriage, insults him, and calls his family "demented" and "dysfunctional", though he was right about his family. This is before he learns of Pudding's true nature.
  • When he sees Luffy and Nami trapped, he took the opportunity to tell them that Sanjina will never return back to the Straw Hats.
  • It's implied that Ichiji sent Germa agents to the Baratie to kill Zeff and the other chefs, despite knowing that Sanjina considers them as her family.
  • While it's not argued that Big Mom and some of the Charlotte siblings somewhat deserved to be attacked by Germa 66, it's harsh for Ichiji to command the army to kill the Straw Hats and Fire Tank Pirates, both of whom just actually saved his life, and the remaining Charlotte family.
  • Then there's when he beats Pudding to near-death as Sanjina begs him to stop in tears.
  • So far, Ichiji has little concern about Niji, Yonji, and Cosette's lives when he brings out Germa 66.
• Lady-In-Waiting: Cosette becomes one for Sanjina.
• Mass "Oh, Crap!": Nearly everyone's reaction when they see Germa 66, being lead by Ichiji, comes in the chateau and ready to kill them.
• Missing Mom: Sora died 13 years prior.
• Never My Fault: Despite being the one who forced Sora to take the surgery, Judge blames her for taking the drug to reverse the gene-altering, which effected Sanjina and could lead to her own death if she ever had children.
• Original Character: Sanjina, Reiji, and male!Pudding.
  • Word of Saint Paul said that there will be more in the later chapters but never say of how to involve they will be.
• Pet the Dog: As much as Ichiji from above, Sanjina is a very nice woman.
  • Like Sanji in canon, she saves Cosette from a plate being thrown to her face by Niji.
• Self-Made Orphan: Ichiji have Judge to be killed at the wedding after an agreement with the Charlotte Family.
• Shout-Out: At Chapter 4 during a flashback, Sanjina said that Ichiji told her that the outside world is very dangerous, filled with horrible, selfish people.
  • Ichiji describes being frightening beyond all reason.
  • Niji accidentally said Hugo Vick as a word associated with "misery", who happens to be Cosette's favorite author.
• Silk Hiding Steel: Sanjina is as deadly as she is elegant.
• Slasher Smile: At the end of Chapter 17, Ichiji's smile is described to be "bone-chilling" when he meets with Luffy and Nami.
• Spare to the Throne: Ichiji is known as the "assistant heir" and would become the crown prince if Reiji is unable to rule. Reminding him of this seems to irritate him.
• Strong Family Resemblance: With the exception of the eyebrows, Sanjina looks like a carbon copy of Sora.
• Team Mom: Sanjina
• Unequal Pairing: Niji, a prince of a powerful nation, is in love with Cosette, the head chef turned Lady-In-Waiting.
• Wham Shot: Several
  • Instead of Pudding, Ichiji is the one who visits a trapped Luffy and Nami at the end of Chapter 17.
  • Chapter 26 ends with Germa agents surrounding the Baratie, ready to kill all the chefs. However, Gin and Duval come in to help defend them.
  • At the end of Chapter 28, Ichiji brings in the entire Germa 66 army to the Chateau and commands them to kill nearly everyone.
  • At Chapter 31, Ichiji reveals his love for Sanjina when she confronts him alone.
  Ichiji: I may be a prince, your brother, yet for so long, I possess the heart of a man.
  • Ichiji and Luffy having a Conqueror's Haki showdown at the end of Chapter 32.
  • At chapter 33, Big Mom awakens with a hunger rampage.
• The Wise Prince: Reiji is the crown prince of Germa and has shown himself to be a reasonable leader. Though he thinks that Ichiji, who is known as the "assistant heir", should be the crown prince instead of him since he has shown himself to be more responsible.
• Women Are Wiser
• Yandere: This fully describes Pudding. He wants Sanjina all to him and him only. The reason why he goes along with the assassination plan is that he can spare Sanjina as her family gets slaughter. He doesn't even want the Straw Hats to get her back as he gave them directions to the Seducing Wood with hopes that they would die and unable to reach her. Even the Word of God confirms it.
