  • Arch-Enemy: To Risa. He's her most important enemy and the most dangerous. He also has a personal grudge against her because of her treason.
  • Ax-Crazy: It's safe to say he's not the sanest person. He's sadistic, envious, misogynistic Yandere with savior complex.

  • Big Bad: Of Season 2, 3 and beginning of 4. In fact, this makes him the most appearing antagonist and probably the darkest one, as he even harassed Risa in real life.
  • The Brute: He may act nice or calm, but is actually a brutish maniac, brutally murdering other players for petty reasons.
  • Cerebus Knight: To the last "t". Being betrayed by Risa caused him to went mad. He separated her from her friends, stalked her, torture her, bully her and cause her data to leak. Compared to previous villains in the series, Landor is particularly dark.

  • False Friend: To Risa, as David Parker.
  • Faux Affably Evil: In public, he acts really politely and easily attracts many women after his surgery. But not so deep beneath the surface he's a sadistic maniac.

  • Freudian Excuse: He lived in a family with drunk father and poor mother, and kids in school bullied him because he was ugly.
    • Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: No matter what his life was, stalking and torturing a young girl just for killing you in a game is too much. Lampshaded by Diederich, when he says that no matter what his excuse is, he's the biggest scum on Earth.
  • Green and Mean: After his plastic surgery, he has green eyes and a green strand in his hair.

  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: After Risa betrays him and buys Shinotobira, he attacks her. This causes the town guards defend her and pierce him with several spears, killing him.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: He's absolutely misogynistic, comparing all women to whores.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: He seemed like that at first, not letting Risa manipulate him and being reasonable enough for many players to trust. He's not so reasonable after his Sanity Slippage.
  • Sadist: He enjoys watching Risa suffer by any means.
  • Sanity Slippage: Because of his constant being bullied he became cynical and locked himself at home. After Risa betrayed, he started succumbing more and more to madness and eventually trying to murder her.
  • Slasher Smile: Whenever he's plotting against Risa, he has scary, big smile.
  • Sociopath: He has some qualities - lack of empathy, personal charm, attracting people to him. However, he lacks the manipulative skills that most other examples have.
  • Stalker with a Crush: At first he really felt and affection towards Risa. Later, it changed into a complete hatred.
  • Tears of Joy: When he sees his new face after his surgery, he cries of happiness and says it's beautiful. This scene is really disturbing.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Ignoring orders from powerful criminal organization with which he agreeded to work with wasn't the brightest decision.
  • Yandere: Oh, boy. Lust for Risa is one of many shades of his insanity.
  • Uncertain Doom: After he fails to kill Risa, he is approached by Natasha who tells him he's over. He hasn't appeared ever since.
