    Blue Diamond
Voiced by: Lisa Hannigan
  • Ex-Big Bad: While she was the tritary overarching antagonist in the series, here, she serves as a supporting character.
    Pink Diamond
Voiced by: Susan Egan
  • Historical Villain Upgrade: Steven believes her and Rose to be responsible for everything he's suffered through. Thankfully, they stop him from believing so.
    Spinel
Voiced by: Sarah Stiles
  • Pet the Dog: She helps Chloe, a little girl, reunite with her mother while she was lost in the big city.
  • Pom-Pom Girl: She temporarily becomes one when she thinks she can be a better cheerleader than any of the human ones. And instead of using actually pom poms, she just inflates her hands like balloons.
  • Ship Tease: With Pink Pearl, apparently they have a lot in common.
  • Sinister Scythe: She has received a rejuvenator-like device from the diamonds as a gift which can use to defend herself. However, instead of resting the target, it will instead stun them for a short while. Plus, she can control the sharpness of it willingly.
    Citrine
Voiced by: Olivia Olson
    Hessonite
  • Badass Cape: She now has regained the cape she once wore in the game she debuted in.
  • The Cape: Ever since the events of "Unleash the Light", she has become one to Homeworld while fighting Black Rutile's forces.
  • Hero of Another Story: Hessonite's battles with Black Rutile are only touched upon in "The Warning" and "Enemy of my Enemy".
    Squaridot
Voiced by: Shelby Rabara
  • Extra-ore-dinary: It seems that she too is able to telekinetically control metal with her mind, similar to that of the Crystal Gem Peridot.
  • I Choose to Stay: After helping stop Black Rutile in "Enemy of my Enemy", Squaridot decides to stay at Little Homeworld, finally accepting the offer given to her in "Unleash the Light".
    Yellow Pearl
Voiced by: Deedee Magno-Hall
    Blue Pearl
Voiced by: Deedee Magno-Hall
    Pink Pearl/Volleyball
Voiced by: Deedee Magno-Hall
  • Adaptation Expansion: Here, she plays an important role outside of just the events of "Volleyball".
  • Adaptational Explanation: In canon we never learned of the state of her eye after she fused with Pearl. Now we later learn that her eye is actually slowly healing and now she has regained a pupil. Unfortunatley, it is still cracked.
  • Atrocious Alias: Cat's Eye finds her nickname to be this. While she can understand the Lapids and the Peridot, hers makes little to no sense whatsoever.
  • Future Badass: Volleyball leads La RĂ©sistance against Black Rutile in the Bad Future. However, Steven and the audience only see Volleyball being shattered after her rebels meet the same fate.
  • The Mole: A reluctant one for the Rutile Rebels until "Cracks and Buds".
    Blue Zircon
Voiced by: Amy Sedaris
    Yellow Zircon
Voiced by: Amy Sedaris
  • Unwitting Pawn: Of Black Rutile.
  • Who Writes This Crap?!: She is genuinely confused by how her script is written.
Yellow Zircon: With the loss of our caste system, our weapons, armies, colonies, and the Diamonds' complete control over us, our kind has become weak. Perhaps weak enough to be conquered. (stares at the speech in confusion and begins to mutter to herself) Wait, this is my speech?
    Lemon Jade
Voiced by: Aparna Nancherla
  • Ascended Extra: She only appeared for a few seconds in "Together Alone", but thanks to Steven, she has been brought back and made an ambassador between Homeworld and cross-Gem fusions.
    Rose Trio
Voiced by: Kimberly Brooks
    Shell/Nacre (Unmarked Spoilers
Voiced by: Deedee Magno-Hall
  • 11th-Hour Ranger: Becomes this for the Brigade during the climactic showdown against Cinnabar's forces.
  • Abusive Mom: Justified. When she was still a part of the Reef as Shell, she had her mind overridden by a program that forced her to do things to her that she would never willingly do.
  • Almighty Mom: Given how large she is, she can do this with most of those who try to oppose her. Her assertive tone
  • A Mother to Her Men: A literal example. She created the Pearls, and therefore, they are technically her children.
  • And I Must Scream: Having her gemstone being used as the processing chip for the reef has essentially mangled her sanity. She loathed how she was trapped in her own home and forced to sometimes hurt her Pearls even though she greatly cared about them.
  • Animal Motifs: Bivalves. She is essentially the remains of one given sentience. And as a bonus, her trimmed dress looks almost like the grooves of a clam, while the frill that comes out around her waist resembles a clam shell.
  • Anime Hair: It's a swirled updo that almost looks like toothpaste!
  • Ascended Extra: Like many characters in Alternate Future, she goes from a one-shot character to have a more major role, especially in creating the Black/Monochrome Pearls.
  • Big Good: She becomes this once she is freed from her prison.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: This is apparently the reason why she was so apathetic and calculating when handling her Pearls while she was still a part of the Reef. It was because she lost herself and essentially became a machine.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: Shell becomes this in Part 2, leading to the creation of the Black/Monochrome Pearls.
  • Cool Crown: She wears a fancy Poseidon-like tiara.
  • Dance Battler: She way she fights is very reminiscent of a ballerina and as well as a figure skater.
  • Demonic Possession: If necessary, she can telepathically override the mind of one of her Pearl's if she is unable to reform her body.
  • Fish out of Temporal Water: She is very shocked by how much Homeworld has changed since she was gone.
  • Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Exaggerated. She comes to her senses once the reef is completely decimated.
  • Giant Woman: This diagram shows that she is half the size of White Diamond.
  • I Hate Past Me: She really does not like how she treated her Pearls back when she was still Shell.
  • Impossibly Graceful Giant: Despite her large size, she is very nimble and graceful just like her creations.
  • The Lancer: To White Diamond. Well, that is until she betrayed her.
  • Large and in Charge: She is slightly taller than Pink Diamond, and serves as the mother figure for her Pearls.
  • Light Is Good: She is brightly colored and is a very pleasant person to be around.
  • Light Is Not Good: This is however subverted when she was still Shell.
  • Mama Bear: She is viciously protective of her Pearls, harm or abuse them in any way and she will make you regret it.
  • Meaningful Name: She is often referred to as the Mother of Pearls. Considering what her role is, this makes sense.
  • Mook Maker: She was the one who provided Black Rutile with an army of Pearls that she could command.
  • Not Quite Dead: After the dogfight between the Brigade and Cinnabar's forces which had left the Reef in complete ruins, it was presumed by all that Shell was destroyed. However, unbeknown to both parties, a largely mysterious figure emerged from the rubble and crawled towards the galaxy warp with their intents remaining unknown.
  • Our Mermaids Are Different: Averted. While she isn't a mermaid, the dress she wears resembles the tail of one. Thus making her look like one.
  • Recurring Fanon Character: She is based on the gemsona made by KJD.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Once she discovers that many of her Pearls were being treated like objects instead of companions she completely snapped. She then abducted every Pearl she had created and refused to return any of them until their owners agreed to treat them fairly.
  • Stealthy Colossus: Unlike most giants in the series, she barely makes any noise when she is moving and you won't even realize she is next to you until it is too late.
  • Team Mom: You thought Pearl was an absurdly good mother figure, Nacre cranks that philosophy Up To Eleven!
  • Two Aliases, One Character: She is known as Shell while she served as the guide of the Reef, and is known as Nacre when she regains her physical form.
  • Walking Spoiler: It is almost impossible to talk about her without spoiling something.
  • Was Once a Man: She was once a normal gem, before she became her gem was placed inside the core of the reef.
  • You Have Failed Me: Downplayed. Once White had heard the complaints from her subjects, she tried to order Nacre to stand down, but she simply refused. Enraged, White then dissipated her form, but instead of shattering her she decided to spare her since she was the only one who could make Pearls, and White states she was a very expensive gem to create due to being made from the remains of an animal.
    Mozanite
Voiced by: Alex Newell
  • Asteroid Miner: This is essentially a Mozanite's purpose. However, they are more destructive than an Aragonite and far less precise.
  • Jumped at the Call: Jumped at the chance to assist in the war against Torius Vosania.
  • Recurring Extra: Other Gems of her kind have appeared in earlier episodes prior to "Light the Way", such as "A Fool and their Money" and "Predator and Prey".
  • Shapeshifter Weapon: Just like Bismuth, she too can transform her hands into a variety of tools and weapons.
  • This Is a Drill: One of her most useful tools definitely has to be a drill hand. But as one of the Pearl's points out, Aragonites are far better at the drill job.
