General
- Snakes Are Sinister: Zigzagged. Most of them are about just as neutral as the various humans and gems we have seen so far. However, while some are very much nasty, there are others that are very much benevolent.
- Snake People: Well, duh. They are the infamous Sneople that Ronaldo has been obsessed with since the original series.
- Sssssnake Talk: Averted. While they are very much based on snakes, they actually don't speak with sibilants. In fact, according to Holly, they actually find it be quite offensive when others do it.
Royal Family
King Cobralan Jörmungandr
- Voiced by: Voltaire
- Punny Name King Cobralan is a King Cobra.
- The Wonka: King Cobralan Jormagundr has kept his subjects entertained with the Contest of Champions for decades just like every ruler before him.
Others
(The) Officer Aescul
- Voiced by: Neil Flynn
- The Cassandra: He gives the Crystal Gems advice on events that will eventually happen. But because they are so cryptic and vague, barely anyone pays attention to him. He eventually becomes frustrated with their ignorance.
- Expy: The author's note of "Together Forever" directly compares the Officer who would later appear in "Gems' Night Out" to the Plumber from Ratchet & Clank. At the end of the latter chapter, the Officer gives some cryptic advice that would help the Gems in the future similar to A Crack in Time.
Dentem Brotherhood
- Voiced by: Cam Clarke (Mr. Leonardo), Sam Riegel (Mr. Donatello), Sean Astin (Mr. Raphael), Brandon Mychael Smith (Mr. Michelangelo)
- Expy: They're practically the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as shapeshifting alien snakes, right down to the color-coded ties, names based off Italian Renaissance artists, and sharing voice actors with particular incarnations of each Turtle.
- Inherently Funny Words: Apparently, they like to call themselves sneople simply because they think the word is hilarious.
