Alex Eugene Newell (born August 20, 1992) is an American actor and singer. Newell is best known for his television roles such as Wade "Unique" Adams in Glee and Mo in Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist.
Newell identifies as gender-nonconforming and goes by all pronouns. In 2023, they became the first non-binary actor to win a Tony Award, as Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Shucked.
