Pirates

Pirates are best known for their plundering and salty sea shanties. This particular group of Scallywags is known for their mastery of gunpowder weapons. Whether they're blowing you up with a keg full of gunpowder, or sniping you from a hundred yards away, you'll find these Pirates are as quick with their moves as they are with their blades. Even the Captain has mastered the art of running away, and he's only got one leg!
    Skirmisher

Skirmisher

"Rum and Wencheees!"
The scurvy-infested seadogs of any pirate crew. Despite having a powderkeg strapped to their back, these guys are quick! Their pistol is not the most accurate weapon, but their speed allows them to fire while on the run. Skirmishers are also very resourceful with the cutlass, so don't let your guard down just because you catch up to one.
    Captain

Captain

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pvkii_captain.png
"No Quarter, lads!"
Don't let the peg leg fool you. Captains are as deadly as their crew and as thirsty for booty as any pirate. Armed with their parrot companion, these guys don't go down without a fight.
    Sharpshooter

Sharpshooter

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pvkii_sharp.png
"Let's get to Buccaneering."
This fine gentleman is almost as skilled in sharpshooting as he is in charming the ladies. His long distance rifle is capable of sending the mightiest warriors to their grave, but up close his butterknife of a dagger will only send his enemies into fits of laughter.

Vikings

Vikings were fierce warriors known for their adept skill at raiding and pillaging. Like a pack of hungry wolves, the Viking team is both ferocious and focused on a single goal - taking down their adversary. Enemies quiver in fear as the Vikings quest for glory on the battlefield. If you find yourself on the opposite end of a Viking pack, you'd best find a way to run and hide, because that's the only way to survive their onslaught.
    Berserker

Berserker

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pvkii_zerker.png
"MURDER AND GLORY FOR VALHALLA!!"
Berserkers are legendary Norse warriors known for their ferocity in battle and ability to go into an extreme state of rage. Some say they eat mushrooms to induce this rage. Others say they have a special spirtual bond with the gods who grant them this gift. We believe they just get really pissed off.
    Huscarl

Huscarl

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pvkii_huscarl.png
"Tonight we dine in Valhalla!"
A moderately armored viking with ranged capabilities and a shield to guard against the attacks of all opponents. The Huscarl may not be as crazy as the Berserker, but maybe that's a good thing. What lunatic goes into combat shirtless anyway!
    Gestir

Gestir

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pvkii_gestir.png
"You hold the Weapon all wrong, child."
An experienced combatant with a long pointy spear and a short pointy beard. Don't let the grey hair fool you, this is one tough bastard! The Gestir is known to throw his Javelin more than 100 yards to take down an opponent.
  • Foe-Tossing Charge: His Special Move. More damage-oriented than the Huscarl's more knockback-oriented Special.
  • Grumpy Old Man: Constantly complains that his enemies don't even know how to hold their weapons correctly.
  • Javelin Thrower: Unique in that they're the only ranged weapons that are charged with forward momentum.
  • Old Soldier The oldest of the Vikings, but no less of a warrior.
    Bondi

Bondi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bondi_2.png
"Let's see what they are made of!"
One with nature and land, Bondi hunts his prey using techniques picked up from surviving the cold Scandinavian woodland. Bored of his hunter's life, he joins his brothers in the war to serve his Jarl. Now that killing is his trade, will you take up the call?
  • Creepy Monotone: Unlike the other classes on his team, the Bondi almost never raises his voice above a menacing whisper.
  • Javelin Thrower: His secondary weapon is an Atlatl that allows him to throw javelin-like bolts. These deal less damage than proper Gestir javelins, but charge much faster and don't require forward momentum to charge.
  • More Dakka: His special allows him to fire arrows in quick succession.
  • Religious Bruiser: Not that the other Vikings shun the gods or anything, but the Bondi does wear a Mjölnir pendant around his neck.
  • Skeletons in the Coat Closet: He wears an animal skull on his belt.

Knights

The Knights are a devout group of deadly fighters who will stop at nothing to rid this world of heathens. But don't let their piety fool you — they also quest for gold and glory. With a balanced arsenal of ranged and melee weapons, these formidable warriors will be a difficult lot to overcome. They fight hard to gather their riches, and are even better at defending them!
    Heavy Knight

Heavy Knight

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pvkii_hk.png
"I would like to introduce you to my sword, Beatrice."
Like a medieval version of a tank, these elite troops are capable of withstanding a tremendous amount of damage. The two-handed sword can cut through enemies like butter, and the sword and shield combination allows the Heavy Knight to guard himself and his allies as the Archers reign arrows down upon their enemies.
  • Mighty Glacier: High health, highest armor in the game, no ranged weaponry, and seemingly incapable of moving at a speed higher than that of a, well... glacier.
    Archer

Archer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pvkii_archer.png
"I shall send my arrow through thine head!"
The Crème de la crème of the Knight's Arsenal. These guys may not be the burliest of men, but they know how to make killing look good. Though they don't pack much of a punch in close-quartered combat, their enemies rarely have the chance to catch them up close anyway.
  • Glass Cannon: Can deal out massive amounts of damage at range, but his butterknife of a sword is near useless in close quarters.
  • Miles Gloriosus: Downplayed. He is very boastful about his archery skills, and while he does fight alongside his companions, the very moment you get within swinging distance, he quickly turns into a whiny, whimpering coward.
"I'm not cut out for this!"
  • Multishot: His Special Attack fires three arrows at the same time.
    Man-at-Arms

Man-at-Arms

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pvkii_maa.png
"You look like your mother, but you fight like your sister!"
A pantsless Frenchman who's as skilled with his halberd as he is with his tear-inducing taunts. You'll be running for your mommy when his crossbow finishes you off, assuming you still have legs to run after he's chopped at you with his Halberd.

     Potential Upcoming Classes

Potential Upcoming Classes

Pirates, Vikings and Knights II is still very much in development. New maps, gameplay features and classes are being developed to make the game bigger and better. In addition to the existing three classes, there are three more classes per team being planned, putting the final count at six classes per team. However, keep in mind that all of these classes are still only concepts, and as such none of this information is definitive, and everything is most likely subject to change!

Buccaneer

The Buccaneer is a big, Jamaican ship's cook, and the Pirates' tank class. Originally, the dev team thought about adding a fast, light class called the Swashbuckler, but it was eventually scrapped and replaced by the Buccaneer.

Freebooter

The Freebooter is the Pirates' stealth class
  • Poisoned Weapons: He might have a Special Attack that allows him to poison his knife.

'Ealer

The Pirates' healer class. She is a tavern wench who hands out Grog to the team.
  • Booze-Based Buff: Hands out Grog to heal the other pirates.
  • Pirate Girl
  • Witch Doctor: Was originally conceived to be this, but eventually, the devs decided that it was too close to the Buccaneer, and she was changed into a tavern wench.

Jarl

The Jarl is a tank class for the Vikings.

Seidkona

The Seidkona is the Viking’s healer class. She is a Druid who hands out medicinal herbs.

Assassin

The Knight counterpart to the Freebooter, the Assassin is the Knight team’s stealth class. She's the next class to be added to the game.
  • Action Girl: The first female class planned to be in the game.
  • Street Urchin: She seems to be this, or at the very least, a Pickpocket/Thief.
  • Back Stab: Might have this ability.

Lord

The Lord is a Support class for the Knights

Cleric

The Knights' healer class. He is a monk who hands out holy water.
