    Students Introduced in Round 1

Akeem Dubois

Ultimate Prosecutor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/8d8af948812f92a0127a2707a949893b_5.png
Created by Zeirt

The youngest prosecutor to have ever been given the title in the world! Hailing from France, Akeem has never lost a case in his short career... at least until he found himself in the Eternal Killing Game. His development in the game went from being a reliable helper with iron will to gradually care about nothing at all (except Ioann).

Akeem was executed for the murder of Lina Azarova in Chapter 3 of Round 1, murdered by Ioann Semenov in Chapter 1 of Round 2, survived Round 3, and survived the finale.

  • Broken Pedestal: He became this for a lot of students as his confidence broke into pieces.
  • Crusading Lawyer: He was known for this method of working before he arrived at the school. It turns out things are quite different in a murder game...
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: While he was doing fine in the first round of the game, his untimely demise in Round 2 and his experiences in the island eventually made people forget what he used to stand for... and eventually he forgot it too.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: He had all the memories of the game removed when Round 3 began. A lot of people who remembered his fall considered this a blessing in disguise. Akeem? Not so much.
  • Masculine–Feminine Gay Couple: Joining Ioann's dainty frame with Akeem's taller and generally manlier appearance, they fit the bill.

Suzume Misaki

Ultimate Archer

Created by Zeirt
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/suzume_app.png
A talented archer who competed in the Olympics representing New Zealand at only 17 years of age, winning gold. During most of the game, she tried to show herself positive despite not being one of the brightest minds. Although her mood and enthusiasm had their ups and downs, she always tried to fight for those she cared for.

Suzume was murdered by Amber Harris in the finale of Round 1, murdered by Michiru Keiji in Chapter 3 of Round 2, executed as a motive by Yama in Chapter 4 of Round 3, and survived the finale.

  • Action Girl: She's saved the students a few times with her arrows. Her shining moment came in the Monousagi factory in Round 2, where she destroyed four Monousagi and probably saved some students from dying.
  • Berserk Button: Never make suicide jokes around her. She's still not over her brother's death, or Liam's.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: How she went out in Round 3. Yama decided to impale her with multiple spikes in front of the students. That had to hurt!
  • I Should Have Been Better: Although she survived the killing game, some of her friends didn't, or just barely. She took the news of Liam's suicide very hard, and she's still very saddened she couldn't help Jasper enough to snap them out of their Heroic BSoD

Zhihao Zhuang

Ultimate Toy Maker

Created by RADlOSlLENT
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/09def112_895a_41b1_974e_20b6cad1ed3c.jpeg

As sole heir to famous Singaporean toy company, Toy Kingdom, Zhihao “Teddy” Zhuang, had earned the title of Ultimate Toy Maker due to his handiness in contraptions and his eye for cutesy children’s designs. Before the Eternal Killing Game, he had been well known for his inventions, such as his hit toy brand, Akuma. However, after his final execution, he’s mostly been known for his despair-driven actions as the Herald of Despair hidden within the student body.

Teddy was able to escape by the murder of Rei Futabatei in Chapter 2 of Round 1, executed for the murder of Ladon Barnett, Amber Harris, and Jasper Muyskens in Chapter 5 of Round 2, murdered by Amber Harris in Chapter 2 of Round 3, and executed for the murder of Zeno Selvaggio during the finale.

  • Cute and Psycho: Despite some homicidal tendencies, Teddy is known for his pastel pink and blue fashion from his time in Round 1 and 2, as well as his puppy-like mannerisms while attempting to befriend other students.
  • Devil in Plain Sight: While mostly unaware, Teddy has been a Herald since day one, placed among his fellow classmates. Although he was one among two, unlike Ioann Semenov, Teddy remained loyal to the Heralds of Despair.
  • Devoted to You: As shown by his strange obsession with a fellow Herald of Despair, Lucy Lewis.
  • Easily Forgiven: Despite bouts of murder and manipulation, Teddy was usually able to win his classmates back over by being as nice as he could. This wouldn’t last for when he revealed himself as Herald during Round 3, however.
  • Killer Teddy Bear: His general aesthetic during Round 3, thanks to his signature jacket. This can also go with his favorite plush, Tomtom.
  • Love Makes You Crazy: He credits all of his actions as trying to impress his “beloveds,” the Heralds of Despair.
  • Serial Killer: Responsible for the murders of Zeno Selvaggio, Rei Futabatei, Ladon Barnett, Amber Harris, and indirectly caused the murder of Jasper Muyskens.
  • Slasher Smile: He’s always had a killer smile. This escalated in Round 3, where his mouth was stitched into an eternal grin after Round 2’s execution.
  • Unreliable Expositor: To hide his true identity as a Herald, as well as his true feelings about the other students, Teddy would almost always lie or cover up the things that he would find. Even when revealing a sliver of the truth, such as when he revealed himself as a Herald, he severely downplayed the importance of his role, and often played dumb.
  • Villainous Breakdown: During the final trial.
  • Wingding Eyes: His eyes have spirals instead of actual pupils.

    Students Introduced in Round 2

Kumar Chaudhari

Ultimate Motorcycle Racer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1db649ab_5648_44f3_aa0f_ad637a327563.jpeg
Created by RADlOSlLENT

Known for his speed on the race track, Kumar Chaudhari, otherwise known as “The Lone Wolf,” was a household name among racing fans around the world. While he keeps his origins under tight wraps, his mysterious rise to fame had earned him his fan following. He had once dreamed of continuing his career as a motorcycle racer until he grew old and wrinkly, at least until he got trapped in the Eternal Killing Game.

Kumar survived Round 2, Round 3, and the finale.

  • Bad Mood as an Excuse: He often starts arguments and fights due to his constantly shifting mood. While he regrets any rash decisions later, such as beating his classmates to a pulp, it doesn’t help in the moment.
  • Big Brother Instinct: He’s pretty good with kids. When meeting younger students such as Maudlin Bisaillon, Khanittha Cha-Leuy, Sami Khan, and much later, Ladon Barnett, Kumar often tries to keep them under his wing.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: His temper is better some days, but on other days, he’ll be willing to plow through anyone in his path if they piss him off.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: While rare, he does have his good, compassionate moments. He just has to be at the right place, at the right time, and with the right people.
  • Smoking Is Cool: He’s been smoking since he was a pre-teen, and this habit has continued into his adulthood. Until the students’ escape from the Eternal Killing Game, that is, when he suddenly decides to quit, and realizes that Smoking Is Not Cool.
  • Tall, Dark, and Snarky: Although not as intelligent as others, Kumar is confident in his appearances. With this vanity comes his trademark sass, something that he never really tries to hide.
  • Tame His Anger: Since Round 3, Kumar has been trying to work on his temper. Its effectiveness is a mystery.

what a woman
Created by siitric-acid

Born into a family of cosmologists, Celeste was always expected to follow in her family's footsteps and that's exactly what she did. Pretending to be an adult online so her research would be taken seriously and pretending to be just a quirky gal so she wouldn't be bullied for her significant interest in cosmology, Celeste's life has been marred by falsities. Will she manage to let down her guard enough so she can help the group?

Celeste survived Round 2 and the Finale. She forced the mastermind to kill her in Chapter 5 of Round 3.

    Students Introduced in Round 3

Andzélika Wolanski

Ultimate Flight Attendant

Created by Florisam

TBD because phone editing is hard.

  • Class Representative: Angie was the Class Representative of her class before the killing game

  • High-Heel Power: It's very rare to see Angie without heels. She's always using them and she manages perfectly with them. If she wanted, she could fight someone in heels, no stress.
  • I Just Want to Be Normal: Angie claims that she never wanted to be a flight attendant at such a young age, much less an Ultimate. She just wants the normal life she was having before that.
  • Kicking Ass in All Her Finery: although she didn't really get into fights, Angie is perfectly capable of fighting in her fine stewardess outfit, heels included.
  • It's All My Fault: Teddy's death in Chapter 2 of Round 3, as she was in the room before but wasn't strong enough to fight the killer. Jasper's death in Round 3, as well as some of the deaths caused by Yama's motive. She thought that because her resolve about dying to save the rest was weak she just let more people die.
  • Letting Her Hair Down: Although only very few times, Andzélika has let her hair down after finally managing to relax a little in front of others.
  • Missing Mom: Her mother abandoned her and her father when she was little.
  • Personal Horror: As a flight attendant, it's her responsability to assure the security of the passengers, she toom this responsability with her fellow classmates and each death felt like a dailure in her duties.
  • Prim and Proper Bun: As a flight attendant she's always required to look her best. For most of the Killing Game she has kept her hair in a bun.
  • Stock Costume Traits: Her flight attendant uniform gives her profession away.

    Non-Player Characters

Monousagi

The Headmaster of Future's Road Academy

Created by Zeirt
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/monousagi_app.png
The cute little bunny who has proclaimed herself the Headmaster of Future's Road Academy. Much like Monokuma, she's very eager to see the Ultimate students killing each other. Although she's more subtle about it than her older brother at first, she gets more and more aggressive with her methods as time passes. Of course, she's just as bound by the rules as everyone else.
  • Big Bad: By extension, as she's just being puppeteered by Marbas.
  • Big Brother Is Watching: The school and island are full of security cameras that she's watching over most of the time. If someone breaks a rule, she'll be watching. She can also instantly transport herself to any room she wishes!
  • Body Backup Drive: Monousagi can't be killed, as she has many, many backups. It's revealed in Round 2 that there's a whole factory in the island dedicated to making more copies of her.
  • Evil Laugh: "Ufufufufu!"
  • Killer Teddy Bear: Bunny, in this case.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Sometimes, she seems to completely go out of character. Most of the time it involves her warning students about something out of her reach, or silently helping them and disappearing, or just getting emotional when a student is too nice to her. It happens more often as Marbas gets more unstable.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: She gets progressively angrier and willing to abuse the students as the game progresses.

Yama

Self-Proclaimed Ultimate Hacker

Created by Zeirt
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yama2.png
A member of the Heralds of Despair, tasked with overseeing the security in the Eternal Killing Game along with other things. After Longinus called their attention, they involved themselves in the game more closely, quickly earning a reputation of being unstable, cruel, and generally someone the students didn't want to mess with.

Yama executed themselves in Chapter 4 of Round 3, and they died during the finale. Of course, they'll come back again.

  • Comedic Sociopathy: They find great joy in people's misery. The wors it is for them, the harder they'll laugh.
  • Expressive Mask: Their mask is basically a screen that displays emojis at their command, although the smiley face is the most used one.
  • Eviler than Thou: Marbas might be bad, but Yama is worse. They've tricked students into breaking rules so they could kill them. The one time they managed to control a motive, it involved publicly executing a random student daily.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Swears constantly, even if they're really happy.

Marbas Meinhardt

Ultimate Mathematician and Game Master of the Eternal Killing Game

Created by Zeirt
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/intro.png
Click here to see him after the game
A highly intelligent mathematician who solved one of the Millenium Problems at a young age. After his best friend found out about the existence of the Heralds of Despair, he was chosen to take the blame for his murder. To make things harder, he got tortured into compliance to accept the position of Game Master, tasked with overseeing the Killing Game. However, he waited for a chance to end the game by giving the students hints about their situation.

Marbas was murdered by Yama at the end of Round 2, but survived the finale although the students could have chosen to execute him.

  • Big Bad: The person who came up with every motive, every execution, and controlled Monousagi. Even if he was forced into the position, he was still the main antagonist.
  • Being Tortured Makes You Evil: Deconstructed. He's never truly evil even if he joins the Heralds' side, and he aims to end the game when the students prove themselves capable of doing so.
  • Cool Mask: During most of the game, he showed up wearing a Monousagi mask that only left one of his eyes visible.
  • Determinator: Even his position in the game and the apparent hopelessness of it doesn't make him give up on the students. He left enough clues to allow them to discover the truth.
  • Exotic Eye Designs: His eyes have the the symbol of a zero printed on them. It glows on some of the artwork.
  • Trauma Conga Line: In order to turn him into the Game Master, the Heralds of Despair were downright terrible to him. His best friend died, he got accused of it, he got tortured until he believed he had done it... And Yama was in charge of babysitting him.
  • The Woobie: After learning what happened to him, he became this to many members in the group.
