Season 1

Original Members: Alec, Ashley, Ellienote , Gabbynote , Lill, Nick, Will
Later additions: Fiorenote , Grettnote

  • Adaptation Name Change: They were originally called the Raging Raccoons in Adventure Camp.
  • Alliterative Name: At least in the beta where they were called the Raging Racoons.
  • Amazon Brigade: Downplayed. The team consists of mostly female members (especially after Alec remains as The One Guy), who are either fairly strong and have survival skills or have the brains to be manipulative and strategic.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: Fiore, Alec, and Grett, the three main antagonists of the season, form The Alliance once they're the final three members of the team after the second team switch.
  • The Big Guy: Will.
  • Butt-Monkey: Not to the extent of Orange Team from Season 2, though. They only won in Episode 1, which happened to be a non-elimination episode, Episode 3 and 7. And one time they lost, it just so happened to be a double elimination round.
  • Decoy Protagonist: The Alliance between Lill, Will, Ashley, and Nick get the lion's share of the spotlight in the first few episodes but are ultimately eliminated in quick succession before the pre-merge, leaving Ellie and Alec, who were Out of Focus in the early episodes to become main characters in their place.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes:
  • Irony:
    • The Alliance of four people (Ashley, Lill, Nick, and Will), which made up the majority of the team, is eliminated one-by-one until the remaining three teammates, who used to be in danger of elimination due to being outnumbered, are left.
    • The entire trio of initial outcasts of the team made it to the final 4.
    • The two teammates who were voted out in fake elimination ceremonies made it to the final 3.
  • The Lancer: Fiore, being the main person to oppose Lill.
  • The Leader: Lill's various survival skills and Team Mom personality quickly establish her as the leader of the team.
  • Legion of Doom: After Ellie and Grett swap, the team consists entirely of the three main villains of the season in Grett, Alec, and Fiore.
  • Lethal Chef: They lose the cooking challenge in Episode 5. Though to be fair, it's downplayed, as Alec is only unable to cook well because he's given disgusting ingredients, which don't match any recipe in his cooking book.
  • The Load: Two teammates share this role:
    • Nick, who gets tired easily, intends to pay anyone to do things for him and costs his team the challenge (albeit after a Groin Attack) in Episode 4.
    • Will whose numerous phobias drag his team down in Episode 2.
  • The One Guy: Alec remains as the sole male member of the team after Will and Nick's early eliminations.
  • Team Member in the Adaptation: In the remastered version, Gabby is initially a member of this team before her teammates "vote her out". The same later happens with Grett, who becomes their team member after switching with Ellie.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Fiore and to a lesser extent Nick.
  • Token Mini-Moe: Fiore, being the only child on the team and in the entire series overall.
  • Two Girls and a Guy: The final three members of the team are down to Ellie, Fiore, and Alec. After the second swap, the team is down to Alec, Fiore, and Grett.
  • Two Girls to a Team: Ellie and Fiore are the only female members left after Lill and Ashley's double elimination. Same with Grett and Fiore after the former switches teams with Ellie.

Original Members: Dan, Drew, Fiorenote , Grettnote , Jake, Miriam, Tom
Later additions: Gabbynote , Ellienote

Season 2

    Green Team (Angry Condors)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/green_team_logo.png
Original Members: Ally, Connor, Hunter, Kai, Riya, Tess, Yulnote
Later additions: Rosa Marianote

    Orange Team (Radioactive Sharks)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/orange_team_logo.png
Original Members: Aiden, James, Karol, Lake, Maggy, Oliver, Rosa Marianote
Later additions: Yulnote

  • The Big Gal: Maggy, easily the tallest and brawniest girl on the team and the entire show in general.
  • Butt-Monkey: Their only ever victory was in Episode 3.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes:
    • James is this for being The Strategist. Aside from Aiden and Yul, no one on the team trusts him. The former has a hard time trusting him, too, until they eventually patch things up a couple of times. The latter grows to hate him for being poisoned by him. Finally, while the girls eventually ally with Aiden and James at the time of the merge, when they have no choice but to vote for one of their allies, they all immediately agree to vote for James.
    • Karol for her The Karen personality. The girls turn on her after James tells them she planned to vote for one of them, and she becomes James and Aiden's Arch-Enemy as a result.
    • While not hated by any means, Oliver's short stay means he hasn't formed any friendships with his fellow teammates. He's also seen as The Load for his panic attacks.
    • Yul continues being Hated by All on this team as well, with only James willing to form The Alliance with him, and even then James ends up delivering Laser-Guided Karma to Yul after learning the latter's plan to poison Aiden.
  • The Heart: Rosa Maria acts as an emotional support to her friends.
  • The Load: Oliver is this as a result of his panic attacks.
  • Shout-Out: Their team name is a reference to Fang from Total Drama.
  • The Smart Gal: Lake's label is The Prodigy and her parents made sure she'd focus on studying.
  • The Smurfette Principle: Lake remains as the only female member of the team following Maggy's elimination in Episode 4.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Yul after he switches teams. Karol and James (initially) also count to a lesser extent.
  • Two Girls to a Team: Lake and Maggy become the only female members of the team following Karol's elimination and Rosa Maria switching teams with Yul.

All-Stars

    Cyan Team
Original Members: Aiden, Ellie, Gabby, Lake, Tess, Tom
  • A House Divided: After Lake goes, the team dynamic boils down to Ellie & Gabby versus Aiden & Tom with Tess in the center as the swing.
  • The Big Guy: Tom fulfills this role for his team once again. It's part of the reason why Ellie opts to get Lake out when she suggests voting out Tom, since his strength would be crucial to surviving at least long enough to make the merge, compared to Aiden at least.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Played With. One third of the team is composed of some of the most good-natured contestants in both seasons (Tom and Lake), but the other half also has some fairly neutral (Aiden, Gabby and Tess) and even morally grey (Ellie) members as well.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Ellie, as a result of her past gameplay and trash-talking her fellow competitors in post-Season 1 interviews. Downplayed in that she has Gabby on her side and on her team proper only Tom hates her with passion.
  • Team Full of Gay: Every original member of the team is LGBTQ.note
  • The Friends Who Never Hang: Despite spending a decent time together before Lake's elimination, Lake and Gabby never share a one-on-one conversation. The closest they get is discussing the Girls Alliance and who to vote for at the night of episode 3, but even that's done with Tess and Ellie present as well.
  • Token Evil Teammate: For a given definition of "evil", Ellie fits this trope, as she's the most morally grey member while the rest of the team has either good or neutral people in it.
  • Two Guys to a Team: Aiden and Tom are the only male characters on this team.

    Magenta Team
Original Members: Ally, Ashley, Fiore, Hunter, Jake, James
  • A House Divided: Following James's elimination, the team is split beetween the duos of Ashley & Jake vs. Ally & Hunter, with everyone disliking Fiore but some players acknowledging they need her for the deciding vote.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Fiore, as a result of her past role as the main antagonist of her season. The people on her team that don't dislike her because of her actions in Season 1, dislike her being on the team because she isn't particularly useful in challenges.
  • The One Guy: Jake takes this role after James and Hunter are voted out.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Fiore sticks out as the sole past major antagonist on the team.
  • Token Mini-Moe: Fiore continues this role, remaining as the only child contestant of the show.

    Yellow Team
Original Members: Alec, Connor, Grett, Miriam, Riya, Yul
  • A House Divided: Once the Villains' Alliance is formed, the team is divided between its members and outsiders. There's also a divide between the alliance members due to Riya and Yul butting heads with each other.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: Majority of the team consists of the series's past antagonists. They also form an alliance with each other.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: The majority of the team can be counted for being past antagonists of the show. It's downplayed in some cases, as Riya still has Connor on her side while Grett and Yul have each other.
  • The Lancer: Miriam, being the only person to oppose Alec.
  • The Leader: Alec makes several decisions in challenges for the team, knowing that his Villains' Alliance will support him. Once the team is rendered to just the members of his alliance, he officially refers to himself as Yellow Team's leader.
  • Legion of Doom: After Miriam and Connor are booted, the team is entirely comprised of villains.
  • This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: Several of the teammates' talents and experiences come in handy for their performance in "Strike a Chord". Alec's poetry skills are useful for writing the lyrics, Yul uses his background as a dancer to dance during the song, and Riya uses her experience of being on movie and TV sets to prepare their costumes and the stage. Granted, she overdoes it, causing one of the lights to not take the pressure and fall down.
  • Token Good Teammate: On a predominantly villainous team, Connor and Miriam are the only ones to not be antagonists.
  • Two Girls to a Team: Following Miriam's elimination, Grett and Riya are the only female members left on the team.
