Adventure Camp

Episode 9
  • The Reveal that Jared Johnson used to work as an intern for Chris McLean until the latter fired him simply for not liking his coffee. Jared tried to protest as he needed the money for the medication for his mother, but with no luck. He then swore that Chris would regret it if anything happened to his mother. Given that Jared went with his Revenge plot against Chris in the present day, she likely didn't survive...

Season 1

General
  • Gabby knowing full well that everyone hates her except for Ellie.

Episode 5

  • Jake finding out through a phone call that his grandmother passed away.
  • Miriam revealing she's the Sole Survivor of her family after her son and husband were hit by a car.

Episode 10

  • After the two villains trick Tom into using the totem to save Jake only to vote the former out along with tricking Jake to vote out Tom due to Ellie’s scheming (who, admittedly, feels deeply guilty about her deception and is in turn thrown under the bus by Alec and Fiore). The friendship between Tom and Jake, and to a lesser extent, the friendship between Ellie and Jake both end on a sour note with Tom yelling at Jake to stay away from him upon his elimination and Jake plotting revenge on Ellie.
    • You can especially see the hurt in Tom's eyes that Jake still doesn't trust him after everything they had been through. After his elimination and breakup with Jake, he's on the verge of tears at the bus stop.

Season 2

General
  • Tess struggling with her depression.

Episode 6

  • Tess' emotional breakdown in front of Ally in the cave.

Episode 8

  • Lake's vote out. While Lake herself is a composed Graceful Loser who shows her appreciation towards all the friends she's made in the game and her personal growth, it's still clear that Aiden and Rosa are heartbroken she has to leave.
  • Hunter is devastated when he thinks Ally has been killed. While also being heartwarming, when it's revealed everyone was never in true danger and are fine, he immediately embraces Ally.

Episode 10

  • Hunter realizing he's completely on the outs and alone, on top of him being distraught over him kissing Ally impulsively at the end of the previous episode.
  • Rosa is thrown through the wringer in this episode. First, she feels very guilty about having to help gang up on Hunter to prevent him winning immunity so she ends up warning Hunter about this, which angers Aiden and James. Then, Riya, using Rosa's past of stealing to provide for her daughter, frames her for stealing James' phone and Riya's own perfume, causing James to pop her balloons in the challenge to keep her from getting immunity as well as (at the time) ruining her friendships with Aiden and James. Then, at the elimination ceremony, she not only finds out her immunity totem was missing, but is voted out. Riya then reveals she framed her, stole her totem, and voted her out, twisting the knife even further.

Episode 12

  • Regardless of whether he had it coming for trying to use Aiden to boost his online image and flipping on his followers, James not only losing said followers, but also being the only finalist to have no one among the cast who roots for him to win, especially when even Riya has some supporters. The impact is lessened by still having plenty of Patreons root for him, though.

Episode 13

  • Riya's emotional breakdown and near death experience while under water, where she genuinely begs for help and forgiveness from everyone until Rosa helps her out. Later, after losing to James, she breaks down again in front of Connor and experiences regret over everything she had done in the season.

All-Stars

General
  • Yul's abuse of Grett in Episodes 4 and 5 is very uncomfortable to watch, with him callously yelling at her and insulting her weight while being fully aware of how it makes Grett feel. Grett fails to stand up for herself, but her confessionals after both incidents are devastating.

Episode 3

  • Alec revealing some of the details surrounding his divorce, namely that his wife wanted to change who he was, and admitting to Connor he isn't the greatest place to look for advice on how to repair a relationship from.
  • Ally mentioning how she would spend lots of time endlessly scrolling through the hate posts she gets between her appearance on Season 2 and the aftermath of her revealing her relationship with Hunter. Dips into Truth in Television as there have been many situations where a female streamer will begin receiving overwhelming hate from members of their audience after revealing she has a boyfriend.
  • With Lake gone, and James eliminated the episode prior, Aiden has lost his two closest allies going into All-Stars.

Episode 6

  • Connor has become distraught from Riya's behavior and is now on the bottom of his team without even realizing it. Come the end of the episode, he is voted out unanimously by his teammates, including his teased love interest Riya and his friend and confidant Alec (who felt uneasy voting him out but wanted to stick true to his villains alliance). On the way out, he ends his relationship with Riya for real. To add insult to injury, he's punished to help clean up the sound stage mess that Riya herself is mostly responsible for.
  • Yul doesn't even truly love Grett, and continues to speak poorly of her and mock her weight. Grett on the other hand seems to genuinely love him, despite the abuse he deals out to her.

Episode 8

  • Ellie's elimination can be heartbreaking for people that love her and Gabby as a couple. Gabby herself is tearing up and tells Ellie she's not good alone without her.
