** James is this for being TheStrategist. Aside from Aiden and Yul, no one on the team trusts him. [[spoiler:The former has a hard time trusting him, too, until they eventually patch things up a couple of times. The latter grows to hate him for being [[KickTheSonOfABitch poisoned by him]]. Finally, while the girls eventually ally with Aiden and James at the time of the merge, when they have no choice but to vote for one of their allies, they all immediately agree to vote for James.]]

* TheBigGuy: Tom fulfills this role for his team once again.
* BlueIsHeroic: PlayedWith. Half of the team is composed of some of the most good-natured contestants in both seasons (Tom and Lake), but the other half also has some fairly neutral (Aiden, Gabby and Tess) and even morally grey (Ellie) members as well.

** Initially, Alec is on neutral terms with majority of his team, only befriending Ellie and Fiore, and later Grett. Eventually, he's HatedByAll for being TheStrategist and TheDragon to Fiore, [[spoiler:disliked by Ellie for [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder betraying her several times]], his VillainousFriendship with Grett ends on ambiguous tone after he and Fiore vote her out, and his father-daughter dynamic with Fiore ends once she betrays him.]]

** TheAlliance of four people (Ashley, Lill, Nick, and Will), which made up majority of the team, [[spoiler:is eliminated one-by-one until the remaining three teammates, who used to be in danger of elimination due to being outnumbered, are left.]]

** Nick, who gets tired easily, intends to pay anyone to do things for him, and costs his team the challenge (albeit after a GroinAttack) in [[spoiler:Episode 4]].

* TheSmartGuy: Dan's label is a Know-It All.

** Riya has a case of IJustWantToHaveFriends, as she's pretty alienated from her team due to other members consisting of a LoveTriangle made of TrueCompanions and a JerkWithAHeartOfJerk, with [[OnlyFriend only Connor as her friend]]. After [[spoiler:his early elimination, she truly achieves this. She eventually [[WeUsedToBeFriends loses Rosa Maria's friendship]] after [[FrameUp framing her]] for stealing others' belongings and even Connor temporarily leaves her side after witnessing her FaceHeelTurn in the finale and after she herself claimed she doesn't need him.]]

* ShoutOut: Their name and logo appears to be a nod to the VileVulture representing the Villainous Vultures in ''Total Drama All-Stars''.

* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Majority of the team can be counted on the account of being past antagonists of the show. It's downplayed in some cases, as Riya still [[OnlyFriend has Connor on her side]] while Grett and Yul [[OddCouple have each other]].
* LegionOfDoom: [[spoiler:After Miriam and Connor are booted the team is entirely comprised of villains.]]
* ThisLooksLikeAJobForAquaman: Several of the teammates' talents and experiences come in handy for their performance in "Strike a Chord". Alec's poetry skills are useful for writing the lyrics, Yul uses his background as a dancer to dance during the song, and Riya uses her experience of being on sets to prepare their costumes and the stage. Granted, she overdoes it, causing one of the lights to not take the pressure and fall down.

* ThisLooksLikeAJobForAquaman: Several of the teammates' talents and experiences come in handy for their performance in Episode [[spoiler:6]]. Alec's poetry skills are useful for writing the lyrics, Yul uses his background as a dancer to dance during the song, and Riya uses her experience of being on sets to prepares their costumes and the stage. Granted, she overdoes it, causing one of the lights to not take the pressure and fall down.

* AHouseDivided: [[spoiler:Following James's elimination, the team is split beetween the duos of Ashley & Jake vs. Ally & Hunter, with [[HatedByAll everyone disliking Fiore]] but some players acknowledging they need her for [[DecidedByOneVote the deciding vote]].

* [[TwoGirlsToATeam Two Guys to a Team]]: With [[spoiler:James being eliminated first, Hunter and Jake quickly become the only male members of the team.]]

* BigBadEnsemble: Majority of the team consists of the series's past antagonists.

* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Fiore, as a result of her past role as the main antagonist of her season.
