    In General
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: They get flak from the Anime House for not being on their level, despite some of them having to deal with plenty of dangerous and world-ending adversaries in their own respective shows.
  • Enemy Mine: Averted. Light tries to invoke this with the Cartoon House against the New Villain House in the OVA, but they aren't having any of it due to his well-known Chronic Backstabbing Disorder.
  • Fantastic Racism: On the receiving end of this by the Anime House, to the point where they launch a crusade in episode 5.
  • Hero Antagonist: For the first half of Episode 5, they serve as this in order to demand respect from the Anime House. Despite having sympathetic reasons for doing so, they still committed the crimes of home invasion assault, and battery.
  • Hufflepuff House: The Cartoon House is treated like this by both the Anime and Villain Houses, with their abilities being viewed as not their level.
  • Vigilante Man: Robin, Aang, Ben, Jack, and eventually Danny, temporarily take on this role as they illegally storm the Anime House to demand their respect.

Major Characters

    Aang

Aang

Portrayed by: Mark Phillips

The titular Last Airbender and simultaneously the Avatar.

  • Apologetic Attacker: He utters an apology to Inuyasha before using his airbending to knock him out, along with Bam.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Even though Aang is a staunch pacifist who prefers nonviolence, he's still a powerful opponent who can take down opponents through his martial arts skills and evasive maneuvers. Also, he can and will go above a certain threshold of force if the situation really calls for it.
  • Blow You Away: As the title of his cartoon suggests, he's an Airbender, allowing him to manipulate wind for offense, defense, and support.
  • Get Out!: On the receiving end of this by the Anime House producers in his first appearance, as he's not an "anime character" and thus, isn't allowed in the Anime House.
  • God in Human Form: He's the Avatar after all.
  • Grew a Spine: This is encouraged by Robin just as Aang is getting second thoughts about storming the Anime House and thinking that there might be a peaceful way. It's clear that any pacifism will backfire with the Anime House's "view" of cartoons.
  • Martial Pacifist: As an Airbender raised in a pacifist culture, Aang is an expert in nonviolent combat. As seen with his brief takedown of Shinra and Tanjiro, he never threw a single punch and only relied on his airbending to subdue them.
  • Nonchalant Dodge: He easily dodges Shinra's fiery kicks and Tanjiro's sword swings, all while maneuvering around them and subduing them without having to throw a single punch.

    Samurai Jack

Samurai Jack

Portrayed by: Desmond Johnson
Origin: Samurai Jack

The titular samurai of Samurai Jack.

  • Badass Normal: His sword is the only thing that is supernatural, while everything else is all him.
  • Beware the Quiet Ones: He's the calmest member of the Cartoon House, but is a Master Swordsman capable of holding his own against Afro Samurai.
  • Charles Atlas Superpower: He does many astounding, even 'impossible' things, all as a result of his years of training around the ancient world of his time.
  • Cool Sword: His sword is made of divine magic that can hurt those who have evil in them.
  • Empowered Badass Normal: When wielding his sword, a weapon forged by the gods to smite evil and can cut down any other weapon...provided with enough force applied to it.
  • Fish out of Temporal Water: In his own show, he got stranded in the future by Aku just as he was about to deal the finishing blow. However, he doesn't have any problem with navigating through 2020 American society in Anime House.
  • Hunter of His Own Kind: Invoked. When storming the Anime House, Jack states that he'll be taking on the other Samurai of the Anime House, such as Afro Samurai.
  • Master Swordsman: While Jack is talented at many things, nothing compares to his swordsmanship.
  • Only Known By His Nickname: He's only referred to as Jack, since his real name is never revealed.
  • Only Sane Man: Justified due to him being an adult with years of worldwide experience, as he's the only member who is against Robin, Aang, and Ben's plan to storm the Anime House, especially for petty, but understandable, reasons. Eventually, he does go along with them, but only to make sure they'll be okay.
  • Twofer Token Minority: So far, he's the only member of the Cartoon House to be an adult while the other on-screen cartoon characters are kids and teens. Also, he's only the member seen so far to be ethnically Japanese, which is ironic given that the Anime Characters (especially the ones who are not ethnically Japanese or the fantasy equivalent like Edward (White) and Bam (Korean)) originated from Japanese media franchises.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Justified. He's willing to cut down Light in the OVA despite the latter being below 20, as Light proves to be a heinous and calculating individual who committed mass murder in the Season Finale.

    Robin

Robin / Richard John "Dick" Grayson

Portrayed by: Leland Manigo

The Leader of the titular team.

  • Avengers Assemble: A modified one involving the Cartoon House instead of the Teen Titans: "Cartoon House! Go!"
  • Awesomeness by Analysis: He was trained by the world's greatest detective after all. He does this in the OVA by pointing out the flaw in Light's previous plan to become The Protagonist and gain Plot Armor; "Wasn't he already the Villain Protagonist in Death Note?". Cue Light's Didn't Think This Through Oh, Crap! moment.
  • Badass Normal: He doesn't have superpowers like Aang or Danny, advanced alien techs like Ben, or even a magical weapon like Jack, but can keep up thanks to his wits, gadgets, and life-long training and experience under the Dark Knight himself.
  • Charles Atlas Superpower: Due to his intense martial arts training, he's capable of beating down opponents larger than him. As he did to Spike Spiegel off-screen.
  • Giving Someone the Pointer Finger: He does this to Light in the OVA by declaring that the only reason he managed to beat L, and the Anime house by extension, is because he had Plot Armor.
  • Hidden Weapons: He hid his bo staff from behind his back when politely greeting Spike, just before he makes the declaration of "making [Cartoon House] own rules".
  • The Leader: Of the Teen Titans, a group of teenage superheroes. He's also this for the group formed by the Cartoon House in Episode 5.
  • Pet the Dog: His debut appearance has him comforting Aang for his harsh rejection by the Anime House, as he and Beast Boy suffered the same thing last week.
  • The Team Normal:
    • He's this for the Teen Titans of his own show, being the only member who is not an alien (Starfire), hybrid (Raven), metahuman (Beast Boy), or cyborg (Cyborg).
    • Anime House continues this trend with the group formed to storm the Anime House in Episode 5. He's the sole member one whose not a Bender/God in Human Form (Aang), an Artificial Hybrid (Danny Phantom), a human with alien ancestry (Ben), or even a human who uses advanced alien tech (again, Ben) or wields a magical item (Jack).
  • Telescoping Staff: Overlapping with Staff of Authority and Martial Arts Staff. His weapon of choice is a collapsible bo staff. He's also The Leader in his own show and for the group formed to storm the Anime House, along with being a master martial artist second only to Jack.

    Ben Tennyson

Benjamin Kirby "Ben" Tennyson (Ben 10)

Portrayed by: Ben Skinner
Origin: Ben 10 (UAF)

The titular hero of Ben 10, specifically of the Alien Force and Ultimate Alien-era.

  • Always a Bigger Fish: Despite his Alien X form getting an Adaptational Badass in the web series, he's still no match for Saitama.
  • Antagonist Abilities: It's only fitting that Ben uses Alien X in his brief role as a Hero Antagonist, his powers and abilities include:
    • The Power of Creation: Celestialsapiens have the power to create anything they can think of, and in Ben's case, creating superpowers for himself to use to defeat the Anime characters.
      • Teleportation: He can teleport to anywhere he wants, and can appear from behind others without making a sound.
      • Area of Effect: He can unleash a devastating shockwave to knock out opponents in an area, such as Killua, Izuku, Jin, and the unnamed Netflix Anime character.
      • Super-Strength: He can match and trade blows with Goku.
      • Super-Speed: He moves just as fast as Goku, and is capable of Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs, Speed Blitz, and Flash Step.
      • Nigh-Invulnerability: Is invulnerable to most forms of damage, since he can trade blows with Goku, take a sucker punch with no worse for wear from Majin-SSB Vegeta, and can shrug off a telekinetic hold performed by 79% Mob. The only one who can knock him out is Saitama.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle:
    • He casually knocks out Izuku, Killua, Jin, and the unnamed Netflix anime character simultaneously through a shockwave. He also would've done the same to 79% Mob if it weren't for Goku inviting him for a fight instead.
    • He later gets the receiving end of this by Saitama, which is a no-brainer.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Downplayed. His Alien X form is depicted as a completely black, featureless humanoid in Anime House, but ultimately, he's only attacking the Anime House in order to gain their respect.
  • Ninja Pirate Robot Zombie: He is a Kid Super Hero capable of Voluntary Shapeshifting into various Aliens. Alien Force also makes him an honorary member of the Plumbers and reveals he has some alien blood himself (though not enough to make him significantly different from a regular human).
  • No-Sell: As Alien X, Mob's Esper power at 79% does little to affect him aside from telekinetically lifting him up for a bit. He also takes a sucker punch from Majin-SSB Vegeta with no worse for wear.
  • Stealth Hi/Bye: He appears right behind Deku as the latter is warning everyone else that the Cartoon House is attacking.
  • Throwing Off the Disability: For some reason, Alien X doesn't have the Awesome, but Impractical status from Ben 10, and Ben is able to freely use the Celestialsapien's form without drawbacks.
  • Transformation Trinket: He wields the Omnitrix, allowing him to transform into any of its collections of over one million different sentient alien species.
  • Uneven Hybrid: Subverted. He's technically 3/4 Human and 1/4 Anodite due to his grandmother Verdona. However, since Anodites are Energy Beings, they do not possess physical DNA (confirmed by Word of God) and can only reproduce with other physical beings by creating a physical avatar, thus making Ben fully human even if he also possesses "the spark" like his cousin Gwen.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Overlapping with Combo Platter Powers. His main ability provided by the Omnitrix is to turn into various alien creatures, each one with its own set of powers. He started out limited to ten forms (hence his surname), only to get more and more as his own story goes on.
  • The Worf Effect: He easily knocked out Killua, Jin, Izuku, and one of the unnamed Netflix Anime characters as Alien X to show just how dangerous a reality-warping alien can be, despite originating from a "cartoon". He goes further by no-selling against 79% Mob and keeps up with base-form Goku of all people. Though unfortunately for Ben, he ends up on the receiving end of this as he ends up being taken down by Saitama once Vegeta and Goku end up distracted with one another.

    Danny Phantom

Danny Fenton / Danny Phantom

Portrayed by: Dylan Patel

  • Artificial Hybrid: He became a half-ghost and half-human hybrid after accidentally turning on the machine his parents built to enter the Ghost World while in it.
  • Big Damn Heroes: He saves Alien X from being further beaten by Saitama.
  • Intangibility: One of his ghostly powers is the ability to turn himself and others "intangible" to phase through solid objects.
  • Sixth Ranger: He joins the Cartoon House's raid on the Anime House a little late.
  • Sorry I'm Late: Says this to Alien X just before he turns the latter intangible and escapes from Saitama.

Minor Characters

    Korra

Korra

Portrayed by: ???

The titular main hero of Legend of Korra. She's also the Avatar who came after Aang's death.

  • The Cameo: She only makes a physical appearance in Episode 3, standing outside of the Anime House when Aang is getting kicked out, and also having the "courtesy" of being kicked out as well.
  • Blue Is Heroic: She wears her tribe's blue colors and is a hero.
  • God in Human Form: She's the Avatar who comes after Aang after all.
  • Legacy Character: She's the Avatar who comes after Aang's death.

    Beast Boy

Beast Boy / Garfield Mark Logan

Portrayed by: ???

A member of the titular Teen Titans.

  • The Ghost: He's only mentioned by Robin in Episode 4 and has yet to make a physical appearance.

    Dexter

Dexter

Portrayed by: John Newton

The titular protagonist with a lab.

  • Chekhov's Gunman: He's only seen walking by the kitchen in Episode 4, but plays a bigger role in the OVA, being present with Robin, Aang, Ben, and Jack as they meet Light Yagami. Though he doesn't speak at all and only makes gestures in response to Light's assessment of his abilities.
  • Child Prodigy: He's the kid with a secret lab, after all, which is something that Light acknowledged.
  • The Voiceless: He has a slightly bigger role in the OVA, but doesn't talk and only respond with gestures.
