After he takes power, he purges the party, describing Jaruzelski as a corrupt and fame-hungry politician who uses his position for his own purposes.
  • Hate Sink: After gaining power, Kiszczak delivers his exposé blaming Jaruzelski for the cult of personality, terror and poor economic situation in order to distract the delegates from his own crimes.
  • This Is Your Brain on Evil: As time passes since the takeover, Kiszczak is increasingly subordinating society to himself, implementing curfews and payment controls.

  • Foreign Ruling Class: Even though Wyszyński comes from a Ukrainian-Polish family from Odessa, he retains very little Polishness.
