Thanos Beatboxing. Says it all.

This show is...weird. The animation is weird, the concept is weird, the matchups are even kinda weird. In a time where most animation on YouTube is Storytime (Nothing wrong with that, just not my thing), it's odd to think something like this is what we can expect outside of that "subculture".

The title is pretty self explanatory. Pop Culture Characters beatbox against eachother ERB stlye. But unlike ERB, which put it's all into unique, clever lyrics for each character to work off of, this is more an excuse to show of Verbalace's beatboxing skills (which, to be fair, are actually really good.) and the Narm-ish Off-Model animation. So, you get the hilarity of seeing Thanos from Infinity War dressed as Barney the Dinosaur, while Darksied sings Gangsta's Paradise. Or Doodlebob and SpongeBob join forces to spit into pencils as they compare Deadpool to poop. Or Mario hitting you with a Fortnite dance.

I wouldn't exactly describe this as So Bad, It's Good, because I do have a sort of un-ironic, Guilty Pleasure enjoyment out of it. The beatboxing is really good, so credit to this guy's skill, and while the animation can be kind of ugly, considering it was made by a small team and ends up being so fluid, there's something admirable about that at least. The series has been thrown around on Twitter for it's absurd moments, similar to the infamous Yo Mama series. But wheras that was just a helping case of We're Still Relevant, Dammit!, by shoe-horning in references to whatever's popular at the time, this seems to have a lot more appeal to it. Yo Mama felt cheap, wheras you can kind of see that Verbalace wants to geniuenly entertain the viewer.

Honestly, it's hard to fully explain in this review. I'd really just recconemd watching it yourself and just sort of...witnessing it. Becuase it's one of the weirdest things I've seen on YouTube.
