Fridge Logic: When Princess Luna left Sweetie Belle's flashback dream, the path they took was through a star scape similar to the one in "Magical Mystery Cure". Was this all happening within Sweetie Belle's dream, or did Princess Luna actually lead her back into the past across a celestial plane, then through a portal to an actual Alternate Timeline that would surely have come to pass had Sweetie Belle not fixed the headdress?

That is a misuse of Fridge Logic, but there is probably a trope it falls under. Ideas?

This is not the moral of the episode. The ymmv part of Warped Aesop is the "warped" part, not the "aesop" part. An accidental Warped Aesop is not different of an example of Warp That Aesop, that, being a Darth Wiki page, can not have examples outside the Darth Wiki.
