Aside from the graphical downgrade (especially on The Krypt and some of the fatalities) and that enormous day 1 patch, the Switch version is mostly fine. That said, I don't think it belongs to either of those categories.

To me it is a mixed bag, I would call it a disaster since its graphics look like a bad Playstation 2 game but the game is still enjoyable. I've seen games released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and games made in Roblox with better graphics! Even Red Dead Redeption's graphics still look good to me despite being a game released in 2010.

, this Base-Breaking Character entry is to biased to the complaints. Leaving here so it can be salvaged by anyone with the know.
- Kronika was intended to be a breakout star, instead what happened was the total opposite. Kronika was incredibly unpopular within the most vocal parts of fandom. Fans of the character becoming a [[SilentMajority Silent Majority]], while her haters grew in size and voice. When the writers of ''VideoGame/MortalKombat11'' attempted to explain such issues fans had with the character, [[FanDislikedExplanation it only made things worse.]] Specifically, her motives are vague, and what the arcade endings imply about her being a well-intentioned perfectionist aren't brought up in the main game, making her look flat. The fact that she's done the same song and dance with Raiden countless times yet doesn't seem to learn from her mistakes has earned her some mockery as well. There's also people who don't like her introducing Titans as a concept in ''Mortal Kombat'' and the fact that she's said to be responsible for everything bad that has happened, devaluing whatever the previous villains have done, hasn't charmed many fans. Regardless, there are people who still think she's interesting, at least in design.
Starting to think that MK 11 is going to become a Broken Base after it's 6 months passes which is just downright sad, despite the improvements.

Kinda unsure if this entry from Internet Backdraft really belongs here; I was going to delete it, but I haven't done research on this discussion at all to justify that edit:
- As soon as Sonya was revealed, fierce discussions popped up between those thinking she was heavily toned down from a military woman with reasonable muscles in MKX, to someone who doesn't even look as strong and pretty as she actually was in the previous two games and those who either don't see a discernible difference or just like her new design.
I haven't seen that many complaints about her design. Most comments are heard are fine with her design.
The one common complaint about Sonya is her voice acting.

Not sure the Kotal Khan bit belongs in the Internet Backdraft section, since from what i've seen people mainly found the situation humorous and have turned it into a meme.
Also, people left the Kombat Kast enjoying how both characters played.

Oh yeah, that example totally reads like misuse for the sake of padding out the page. It's just a trailer, and the issue can be boiled down to "the trailer has Kotal's name but should have Jacqui's instead", and a minor issue like a mislabeled trailer is far from causing a "backdraft". The most hardcore Kotal Kahn fanboys might have felt mildly annoyed at worst, and everyone else would either not care or find it funny.
I also feel like Internet Backdraft is being used as a stand in for Base Breaker.
Agreed, at least half of the deleted Backdraft entries on this page alone were pretty much that.
Is it just me who thinks the statement "the complete aversion to making the women look sexy or visually appealing at all" is a little too biased to be followed up by Rule of Cautious Editing Judgement? Maybe if it was just sexy but there are a good amount of people who like the designs.
