I changed:

  • Pete, from Goof Troop, falls into this category most of the time. Even when he's not being a Jerkass he still falls victim to painful accidents or embarrassing situations about every five minutes, usually caused by Goofy.

  • Pete, from Goof Troop falls victim to painful accidents or embarrassing situations about every five minutes, often caused accidentally by Goofy. This is the standard structure for almost all of his focus episodes, mainly as retribution for being a Jerkass in other characters' focus episodes.

Because the original wording implied that there is malice in what Goofy does and that Pete is treated as The Chew Toy more often than he deserves.

For the first point, that is definitely not the case. Goofy is both The Klutz and The Ditz but he's a Nice Guy.

For the second, Pete's mainly The Chew Toy in his own focus episodes, while he's usually the biggest jerk in Goofy, Max, and especially PJ episodes. "Bringin' on the Rain" is an exception to both rules, making the point still stand that typically the biggest "cathartic payoff" and the worst of the actions are segregated as a side-effect of the show's Rotating Protagonist structure.
