Is there a reason why examples on this trope are no longer sorted by type?

So I'm having trouble with certain examples and figuring out whether they'd be a sequel or a Spin-Off.

Take Pirates Of The Caribbean. The fourth movie is listed here as a spin-off, when I'd think it's just a sequel since it shares the main character (let's face it, Jack wound up being the main character by the second movie) and title. Or the belowmentioned Ben 10 series, which seem like straight up examples of Sequel Series.

The description is broad enough ("The main character is revisited elsewhere in his narrative.") that you could consider literally any sequel a Spin-Off. Going with that definition, Rocky III could be considered a Spin-Off. Which seems like madness.

Why are so many of the examples in this page commented out? Is there some guideline that needs to be followed for these examples to be uncommented?

Read the commented out note on the top of the page. They're Zero Context Examples.

Apparently, that's what the new Ghostbusters movie is going to be (and I prefer to call it as such).

I left K9 in Type 1 for now, but it could fit better under Type 11.

I have questions about the rather or not the Railgun series is actually a spin-off because it doesn't fit in any of the categories. The closest one it fits into is the shared continuity category but with all of the aspects being reversed 1: All of the characters from the original show up in it and hold an importance to the plot.

2: The plot of both series runoff each other, Railgun has some things look like a Deus Ex Machina that are further explained in the Index, while it conversely gives a more clear and better understanding of the details of science side for the Index. Both are practically essential to properly understand the full extent of the overall plot of the franchise.

3: The Railgun manga was originally created for purpose of better understanding the plot, characters and timeline of the Index series while telling it through the eyes of its minor and secondary characters.

Conclusion: Wouldn't all this mean that A Certain Scientific Railgun is not a "Spin-Off" but an entire "Lower Deck Series?"

Why is Ben 10 listed when Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien are sequels?

I have an example but i don't know enough about it to properly categorize it. Drizz't is a Dungeons And Dragons background character who got super popular and became a main character in several books since his background origins.

An example like Drizz't might be a type 2 spin-off. However, he may more likely fit in Character Development or one of its sub-tropes. If there was a trope in which a background character is elaborated in fanfiction (at least, I assume that these books are fanfiction), he would likely belong there.
