I notice this a lot in movies in a way that isn't really reflected on this page. Sometimes there's scenes where there's literally 2 light sources projecting orange on 1 side of an actor's face and blue on the other side of their face.

Is this the same trope, or a different one?

Hmm, shouldn't this be Orange and Teal? I mean, that's kinda what it's known as generally, not that that necessarily means we need to use it here too, of course. But generally, it is teal as opposed to blue (blue is pretty dark and doesn't pop enough I guess).

I think that's a good idea, the "blue" is actually teal more often than not. I think it'll be easier for Tropers to find this under "Orange and Teal" since that is what it's more commonly known as.
