No Anime/Manga examples, is this on purpose or they're accidentally purged?

This page had a major overhaul a while back and now Foe Yay exists too. Some examples, like the anime/manga ones, had already been split off into subpages, and it must have been missed in the merge back. The examples are still at FoeYay.Anime but need scrubbing before being reintegreated.

Or something like that.

This article has the worst name on the wiki. Why can't it be merged with Foeyay subtext?

I resent the "opposite of love" in paragraph 2. I may be wrong? but I'm pretty sure that the opposite of love is actually indifference, not hate, because hate is a (very negative) type of relationship and indifference is more like the utter lack of one. Anyone agree? Disagree?

If the opposite of love is indifference, wouldn't that make the definition of love "any strong emotion"? A negative emotion's antonym is a positive emotion; in my opinion, love is the opposite of hate.

I could explain why you're wrong, or I could just say no. I'll explain. The opposite of a negative type of relationship is a positive type of relationship. The opposite of a lack of a relationship is a very strong relationship. Love is a positive relationship. Hate is a negative relationship. So, you explained to everyone else why you're wrong.

Words don't tend to have one opposite. In the terms of the reply above this one, love is a strong positive emotion, so a lack of emotion or a strong negative emotion are both opposites.

I added one example while others had been removed for sorting or something, I hope that's okay. Yes, it's definitely this "Foe Yay", not the others.

There are various [1]s, [2]s, etc. but there is no just [[Yay]].

What is a yay? Urban dictionary states "Used as an exclamation of pleasure, approval, elation, or victory.", but this seems not to suit.

The idea is the subtext of "homosexuality yay" etc. Foe Yay doesn't work taken literally but it works fine as a snowclone (snowclones are not necessarily bad if the 2 tropes are very closely related).

Should we make a new page for just Doctor Who? The list getting kinda long, what with the Doctor and the Master having a few decades of sexual tension interaction and all.
