The fact that your post exists makes me worry about the human race even more, as it doesn't contribute to anything here.

PRAISE TO THE DINH AND THE KINGHere's a new rule. Anything about hating the fans by calling the movie terrible or calling the fans lupines or wolfaboos and stating Did Not Do The Research facts despite those facts negating elements of Rule of Cool ESPECIALLY Humphrey's eye color will be instantly deleted. It's unacceptable and unnessecary plus there are no exceptions to this.

Redundant? Very.
I thought TV Tropes was not a place to whine. Just as you don't get pages saying "OMG This is the BEST book EVAR!!!", you won't get pages trudging an average piece of work into mud. And YMMV as a trope doesn't go on a page... isn't that obvious?
Took this out-
** A female Alpha. Or in a dominant position, if you go by the Alpha still being alive.
- Actually, there can be a female alpha. The bigger research fail is that the wolves have their ranks as a social class, or have ranks at all. Wild wolf packs are family units, so the 'alpha' pair is simply mom and dad of the pack. Hence, the female 'alpha'.
- Bu-but...it is social class, isn't it? I mean...the mom and dad of the pack are the mom and dad of the pack because they're alphas. The alphas get food and mating priveleges/priority and the middle class of wolves fight over the status.
Because it was not actually an example of Did Not Do The Research and was getting nattery Hide / Show Replies
I'm pretty sure I have read before that the female alpha is actually more likely to be dominant over the male alpha then other way round.
Edited by fawn ^Not actually my favorite animal.Took out the entire article on Did Not Do The Research. It sparked a mini edit war over one character's eye color all because that specific color is not common to actual wolves. A movie that relies on Rule of Cool should not have a Did Not Do The Research article in the first place.
Edited by WolfMan16 Some folks on the Internet think they're a special GIFT to the world, and others aren't. In this perspective, they're kind of right. Can't we just instant delete any more natter about eye colours and how "unrealistic" they are in real life? The film is clearly not supposed to be realistic and adding Did Not Do The Research on the page about eye colour at every opportunity is just unnecessary.
Since there already is an edit war over this issue, we do not know that the directors didn't know about real life wolf's eye colours, they may have knew it but still chose the eye colour on purpose, in which case it wouldn't be Did Not Do The Research. And also, Rule of Cool negates it anyway (real wolves can't dance and play air guitar, Humphrey does it, didn't do the research?).
Edited by anonymous738Yes. Clearly, some tropers such as teardrop and argai don't understand the whole movie heavily relies on Rule of Cool. They only focus on Humphrey's eye color. I'm pretty sure I haven't heard of wolves with purple eyes, but Lilly from the same movie has some. I don't ever recall wolves having Anime Hair in real life, but the wolves in this movie has some too. To add some more unrealistic examples this movie has to offer, which I'm sure the directors didn't research on. Gooses don't golf in real life, but there is a golfing goose in this movie. Plus, wolves don't talk in real life, but they talk in this movie. So tropers such as argai and teardrop, you obviously don't understand the basic Rule of Cool this movie has to offer. Maybe you guys Did Not Do The Research on what the movie is about. -_-

The fact that this entry and it's related pages are so massive makes me weep for the future of the human race.
