Something occured to me—do the characters' names really have to be that big when they're already coloured like their respective factions?
The Danse Macabre Codex Hide / Show RepliesNo. No they don't. Every single piece of text that's huge needs to be shrunk down to a more reasonable size. And it needs to happen very, very soon.
This place is careless.Okay, I've shrunken the names down...and I've also folderized the Autobots and Decepticons, while leaving "Other" untouched for the moment. Is there anything else that can be done to clean up this page?
The Danse Macabre CodexPersonally, I hate the way that all the myriad continuities are mashed together. Then again, if you ask me, there's next to nothing Transformers-based on this site that isn't in dire need of cleanup. (Anyone get rid of the snowclones on the BW character sheets? 'Cuz Jesus Christ that shit is/was awful.)
This place is careless.Well, I don't know what to tell you; unless we end up making sub-pages or subsections for the specific continuities, there's not much I can do about the continuity mish-mash.
The Danse Macabre CodexWell, as long as you just do what you can to make this place presentable, that's fine by me.
And another thing that I bitch about in regards to this place: Attempts to write entries as if they were written by the character that's being talked about. (See: Dinobots.) It's not funny, it's not cute, it's just annoying and makes me want to do unpleasant things to you with your computer.
I also maintain that there is only one thing worse than an editor that uses "Axe-Crazy" instead of "Ax-Crazy". (It's an editor who uses "Axe-Crazy" instead of "An Axe To Grind".) I'm going to go and fix the Megatron/Galvatron entry now.
This place is careless.Sir, I am Canadian, and as such I use Canadian spelling; if you take issue with that, that's your prerogative, but do not tell me how to spell, especially when it's the same trope with one letter of difference. Otherwise, you simply come off as giving myself and everyone else who uses this perfectly acceptable alternative spelling the finger.
But I digress; I will do what I can for this page, though I have not yet made up my mind about the Dinobots.
The Danse Macabre CodexDid I offend you? If so, I am sorry. It merely irritates me when alternate titles, redirects, and the like are used instead of the actual title. Why? I am not entirely certain. (For the record, I am Australian.)
(Also for the record, I am enraged whenever someone uses Transformers Film Series instead of Transformers. And I stick by my indictment of people who confuse Ax-Crazy and An Axe To Grind.)
This place is careless.I admit I've kind of been thinking we should turn the Generation 1 page into a psuedo-index and create separate pages for the cartoon, G2, IDW, Dreamwave, etc. anyway.
Apparently I am adorable, but my GF is my #1 Groupie. (Avatar by Dreki-K)So any luck on that splitting idea, yet?
Or could we at least take a page from the Shattered Glass list and split it via subfaction and type instead of by year? I especially have a hard time remembering what year the later Action Masters and Headmasters, etc. are in. Plus we could then add descriptions and stuff like "Losing His Head" collectively instead of repeating in every character in a certain type.
Edited by ArkadyDarellI was thinking about giving the Cybertronian Empire a different sub-folder than the "Other" one. Of course, both the "Cybertronian Empire" sub-folder and the "other" sub-folder should go under the "other" title. The idea, of course, also includes adding tropes related to Cybertronian Empire members Rook (Foil) and Mindset (Mauve Shirt, Robo Family).

Should the images across the G1 pages be formatted differently?
