Find a Trope:

Applies mostly to film and live-action TV: when arrows are being shot (in e.g. a forest), arrows that miss never just land in the ground, they always stick in trees at perfect 90% angles. The closest thing I found was The Blade Always Lands Pointy End In.

Do we have a trope for Overshadowed by Awesome, but an Audience Reaction? Specifically, Work X is a decently regarded work that is relegated to Cult Classic status because a different similarly-typed work received a lot more hype and fanfare?
Or is this just Cult Classic, but more specific?

Do we have anything for when as show's opening is completely random and Non Sequitur and has nothing to do with the show?

Do we have a trope for when two characters decide to keep their costumes or masks on when having sex? This is a trope mostly exclusive to superhero comics. Can be found in Watchmen, Nu52 Catwoman #1, All-Star Batman and Robin, Spider-man comics involving Black Cat, and the movie adaptation of Kick-Ass 2. If not, I think these are enough examples to create a YKTTW right?

Would there be a trope for when a guy Wouldn't Hit a Girl, and what follows is the girl whooping his ass, usually out of rage for his refusal to "treat her equally"?

What's the trope where a character gives something a mark to identify it, but somebody else throws them off by giving similar things identical marks?
For example, in Batman Begins, during a fight where Ducard and Bruce are in a fight and must search among dozens of identically dressed Mooks for each other, Ducard slices Bruce's upper arm to identify him later. Bruce successfully throws him off by giving an identical injury to two other Mooks.
Another example: stories of leprechauns protecting their gold often involve the would-be thief marking a tree where he buries the loot, only for the leprechauns to put identical marks on every tree in the forest.

Is there a trope that covers this situation: in Asterix where Obelix says he'll go on a diet, and eat nothing but crackers with a "tiny little thing on top" that turns out to be a whole boar? Or in Garfield where he has "just one drumstick"... a giant one from a pterodactyl. The latter could be Loophole Abuse but I'm looking for something that doesn't need a loophole.

I know this is a trope, but I don't know which one it would fly under.
It starts off as Mugging the Monster when the crook discovers that his target is a Marine. However, upon discovering just how outclassed he is, the crook STILL tries to take on his target because his pride won't allow him to back down and promptly gets his ass handed to him.
Another variation would be if one guy is chasing a target, only to discover that his target has brought heavy backup via a special forces team. While the smart person would've run away, this guy instead decides to rush the entire special forces team anyways with predictable results.

Is there a trope when a guy who just got his ass kicked still believes he won the fight? The dialogue usually goes like this:
"That no good hooligan! I'll show him what for!"
- walks offscreen, gets completely throttled, and comes back barely able to stand"
"Y...you see? I told you I'd teach him a lesson....." *faints*

Is there a trope for characters having a conversation about a secret/private matter too loudly, but it's played straight as if no one can hear them? For example, if two characters are trying to sneak into a high profile party have a conversation about "being nervous" and "everything going according to plan" in front of security who could quite easily hear them, but the writers don't acknowledge it?

Is there a trope for characters destroying personal items in rage/defeat/grief? Especially if the item is connected to the loss? For example, a champion gymnast suddenly becomes paralyzed in a competition, and destroys all her trophies. Usually the character is alone and has previously shown to be reasonably calm when interacting with others.

Is there a trope where one character accuses another of being racist, despite said accusation clearly being impossible? Examples I can think of are:
- An angry customer accuses a cashier for being racist against black people, despite the fact both of them are African American.
- Alice yells at Carol for being misogynistic, despite the fact both are women and Carol is a key member of a Women's Rights group.
- A yaoi fangirl yells at a guy for being homophobic, despite the fact that said guy's boyfriend is standing next to him and they're both sporting engagement rings.
Very often when someone is shown taking a shot from a syringe in a movie they are shown clicking their fingers at the needle. I know fairly little about how to properly give an injection, but this probably has to do with removing air bubbles from the syringe's content, since injecting air into the blood system would be Very Bad. Is there a trope for this? Is it tropeworthy at all?
