openHomestuck 2 Webcomic
Yo! I assume that you know that Homestuck 2 is finally out. And if you don't know that Homestuck 2 is finally out, then surprise! Homestuck 2 is finally out!
With that said, do we make a new works page for it, or place its tropes on the original Homestuck page?
openEdit warring Webcomic
It seems Geodude6 doesn't like his changes being contested and reverted one back on Characters. The Order Of The Stick The Order Of The Scribble without trying to discuss it.
I would have let it slide, except with all the other very arguable changes they'd made on the OotS character pages, one of which had required a mod revert, I'd say we have a problem troper here.
openAsking for a revert Webcomic
I would like to ask for a reversion of all latest changes by Geodude6 on the page Characters. The Order Of The Stick Northern Lands.
Those changes include removing an accepted denomination and replacing it with what is basically a Fan Nickname, obfuscating things seriously for whoever isn't familiar with the comic.
I could make the changes but I'm not sure to catch everything, plus I don't want to be accused of edit warring.

Edited by nombretomadoopenis this a violation of ROCEJ? Webcomic
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/article_history.php?article=Main.OvershadowedByControversy
Scifimaster 92 deleted the following entry from Overshadowed by Controversy:
- Sinfest, a webcomic initially known for its raunchy, dark comedy and its lighthearted parodies of religious tropes, garnered a much more negative reputation after the onset of the Sisterhood arc in 2011, which radically shifted the comic's focus into a story-driven one with heavy, radical feminist overtones. What made this so controversial was a combination of its misandrist attitudes towards men, the author's constant deflection of criticism as "dudebro misogyny," attempts at using female characters to speak for women despite being a middle-aged man (as well as insulting women who disagree with his views), and more recently the use of the Sisterhood as a mouthpiece for transphobia, depicting gender non-conforming individuals as liars and literal zombies. Consequently, the comic's fanbase has been hemorrhaging out over the years, the author's Patreon is seeing a steady decline in support, and Sinfest is now more well-known for its trans-exclusionary radical feminist overtones than for anything else about it.
now, some of this probably does need to be cut, the bits about misandry and the like are likely to attract MRAs. however, TV Tropes explicitly takes a pro-trans, anti-transphobia stance. i dont think it runs afoul of ROCEJ to condemn TERFs.
im trans myself, so i may be too close to this issue to view it objectively. id like some input on whether it's kosher to include or not.

Why does the page https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Webcomic/AllenTheAlien have the name of the webcomic spelled as Alien The Alien in the heading line?
open Nanite Powers? Webcomic
I am writing a new webcomic in my spare time. In the webcomic, the protagonist is a genius-level character utilizing nanites that live in his blood for various tasks. They are powered by inductive charging gauntlets on his arms. When those are out of order, the nanites rely on glucose and oxygen in his blood to create bioelectricity as backup fuel. The nanites are bound to his DNA, making it impossible for the nanites to function away from his body, so they can't be used to disassemble other people or anything crazy like that. He also has robotic eyes made of nanites.
The nanite powers I have so far are as follows:
Hyper Regeneration Heated Lasers Freezing Lasers Electrokinetic Blade Construction Flight Super Speed (But only during Flight) Melee Weapon Construction Disease Generation Smoke Bombs (6 before running out)
The eyes have separate functions. They can detect heat signatures, scan objects for weak points, display damage done to the protagonist, and display holograms.
If anyone has suggestions about powers the eyes or nanites can have, or additional limitations, please let me hear them. Thanks.
openLoveDodecahedron/WebComics Webcomic
Is there a thread that deals with examples being recent? LoveDodecahedron.Web Comics, due to the nature of tangling romance, features multiple examples that reek of being added as they happened, and nobody changing the wording of previous examples to match the new relationships.
openWork page rename request? Webcomic
Not sure where to go with this issue; if there's a dedicated "rename request" thread somewhere please let me know.
I feel as though Webcomic.Prequel and its numerous subpages should probably be renamed to "Prequel Adventure" (which is a semi-official alternate title from the comic's URL) to avoid cluttering up the namespace for the ubiquitous trope/term of the same name. This would also free up a laconic namespace for the comic.
open to make a webcomic work page for this one sci-fi fantasy webcomic. anyone please help? Webcomic
the webcomic in question is called Supercell by BM Brice. the story is beautifully drawn, funny, heartwarming, sad, well written and great world building. i know how to edit a page that already exists. its just that making the template, url, other pages and just starting the main webcomic work page thats the problem. i have already collected some tropes for it. the problem is that im just new to this thing.
im more then happy for someone to check it out and making a main page for it instead of me. so i can edit it after. thank you all for any help or advice in advanced
openHello! Can I get moderator help? Webcomic
Ages ago I created this page for a large, publically-posted roleplay a close friend of mine and I were doing. Since its completion, I've begun development for a webcomic based on the storyline (as well as removed the original material) and I'd really liked to change the page type from "roleplay" to "webcomic." Would anyone be able to help me with this?

Edited by nombretomadoopenWhich media? Webcomic
I'd like to make a page for Tillie Walden's On a Sunbeam, which, from what I know, started as a webcomic before being published as a graphic novel by a publishing company. It's the same story, and the same art, just in book form. Should I list it as a webcomic or as literature? Thank you!
openAdding My Own Work Webcomic
Apologies if this has been asked before, I searched but to no avail. I've recently started a webcomic (just a little gag-a-day thing, albeit every few days) and I'm interested in starting a page for it here. However, I don't want to just add one when I've only got a few strips as I don't think that would be very good, ettiquette-wise, and I can only imagine how cluttered the site would be if everyone made pages for their brand-new, single-issue webcomics. What would be an acceptable minimum number of strips before I made a trope page? Thanks in advance.
(This question sounded a lot better in my head)
openMary Sue tropes Webcomic
Would it be okay to list some additional Mary Sue tropes for Ensign Sue Must Die? They're listed as Flame Bait, however, this work's use of them is clearly intentional and used for parody.
openMy First Page Webcomic
So, I've made my first ever Works page. It's for a Mario/Pokemon fancomic called Bad Things Will Happen, a story which is one of the best I've ever read.
However, the page...needs work. A lot of work.
So this is why I'm asking...Could someone maybe help me with the page? I understand if you can't, or if I'm asking in the wrong place...but I'd really appreciate some help.
-Lily, aka BOOM!
I've been trying to make a trope page for the WEBTOONS webcomic Muted. My account is approved now, but whenever I try to follow the instructions on how to make a new tropes page, it says its under admin lock. Why is it locked? Is there another way to make a brand new page?
