I don't know for sure, but to hazard a guess, it would be because what one person considers "propaganda", someone on the opposite end of the political spectrum could consider it "realism" and vice-versa. ROCEJ and all.
I didn't choose the troping life, the troping life chose meI suspect, much like the comment above me, that it is because the definition of "propaganda" is highly subjective and could turn into a flame war magnet very quickly.
Edited by themayorofsimpleton TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup Of Complaining | Troper WallFunnily enough, for at least a while now it's had a commented-out note asking if it should actually be trivia.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness^ Is that allowed? I thought the only things that are supposed to be commented out are ZCEs and editor instructions. That note falls under neither of these things—it just asks a question.
I'm not sure it is, it's just interesting that it's there at all but was seemingly never brought up for discussion.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIt was unilaterally added in 2015, seemingly without discussion.
Permission to cut that note? And getting back to the original topic, can I add
I figure it might be worth raising this in TRS. I can't find if there was a discussion on listing it as YMMV and it looks a little questionable to me.

- Propaganda Piece: According to this ATT, it was seemingly unilaterally added to YMMV.Home Page in 2015 and it is questionable whether it is actually YMMV.
Why is Propaganda Piece classified as YMMV? The YMMV.Home Page entry doesn't explain this.
