Thank you for coming here for consensus. I don't think we should be potholing show names to multiverse designations.
- because as Crisis on Infinite Earths shows, the designation can change
- because there isn't In-Universe confirmation of these designations
- because these designations are going to be less familiar to the casual viewer (and our audiences) than the name of the show
Exactly, but that's what happened (I posted the links to the histories above for anyone to check). I mean, not everyone who watched either or both Titans and Doom Patrol (or the rest of the DC properties, really) watch the Arrowverse. And as already said, the shows may have different designations. I mean, for all we know Titansverse might designate Titans as their "Earth-1" and Doom Patrol their "Earth-2", and so on.

Titan and Doom Patrol are so different that they can't be in the same universe. I think they should be separated.

. And speaking of separating, add the "Other Superheroes", "Villains", "Other Powered Beings", and "Civilians" pages to the list.
I edited pages there a few days ago and classified them based on their respective shows (Titans and Doom Patrol) because they were respectively classified under "Earth-9" (the Titans characters) and "Earth-21" (the ones from Doom Patrol) which are Arrowverse (a separate DC Comics TV franchise) designations. I gave a reason in the edits stating the respective properties may have their own designations (as evident in Smallville, which has their own "Earth-2" that is clearly not the same as both the pre and post crisis Arrowverse versions. The properties' respective Word of God also said something similar) but they were reverted back without any explanation.
I was planning on restoring them but, you know, don't wanna start an Edit War so I decided to come here first.
