It should be namespaced as Fanfic. Not The Intended Use . Although it might need a new name if you want to custom title it and don't want the custom title to affect the trope page..

Since custom title collision is a fair reason for disambiguation, you could make it at Fanfic. Not The Intended Use Castlevania as fanfics are usually disambiguated by source work (I assume that's the one you're talking about, as searching for "not the intended use fic" brought up a Castlevania fic which was also all lowercase).

Yeah, it's that Castlevania fic, but it's also a crossover with Shin Megami Tensei (they started as mere cameos, hence why it's not on the crossover section). So I can't put Castlevania in the title.

Maybe I should specify it's a fanfic in the title.

How about Fanfic. Not The Intended Use Fanfic with the custom title being Not the intended use (fanfic)?

I don't think such redundant disambiguations work well if something else can be used. An alternative is author's name, so how about Fanfic. Not The Intended Use Zantetsuken Reverse?

That's a bit hard to spell... And I've seen the type of disambiguation I suggested - for example to separate the Daredevil TV show from the comic.

If it's classified on FFN as a Castlevania fic, it can be listed as a Castlevania fic here as well, even if there's a bit of crossover elements to it.

Alternately I guess you could use its release year (2017).

But the author's penname is generally the best option for disambiguating fanfic pages.

Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.

Besides, if you have to link to a work, you can always ctrl+v (cmd+v) it, and it's not the hardest name to spell (Fanfic.Lux Umbra Magna Auguratricis is quite a mouthful, maybe there's something harder if I wanted to find it). Also, Fanfic. Not The Intended Use would be a redirect anyway, so people could still find the page.

I want to include the spinoffs in the page, which are properly in the crossover section...

I guess I'll use the author's name after all. Thanks, guys.

^ Why not make separate pages for those spin-offs?

Too short, and they have many similarities with the original. Plus, I already started working on it. A previously red link above should have turned green now.
