I'd be in favor of it, if just for a more correct name.
I know nothing about this topic, but sounds like it should either be renamed to something more accurate, or separate pages are needed for the non-Mongolian cultures. If there isn't a distinct Mongol Mythology without including the other Altaic people, I'd say rename.
^ Theoretically there could be separate pages, as those mythology aren't exactly alike, but until no one informed enough of the subject steps in, we can only rename that page as "Altaic Mythology".
By the way, if I were in you I'd ask directly to the mods to rename the page, since that title is simply wrong, there isn't much consensus to ask for.
I feel like most people searching for that aren't going to know what "Altaic" means; certainly not any more than they'd recognize "Mongol". This indicates keeping it around as a redirect even if the primary article is moved.

I think Mongol Mythology should be moved to Altaic Mythology because it covers not only the Mongolian lore but "the mythology of the Altaic people which also includes Siberians, Turks and Central Asian peoples like the Huns and Xiongnu".
