We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza
What trope fits this scenario?
In a future Marvel Cinematic Universe film, there are two versions of The Punisher. In one scene, the Jon Bernthal version from the Netflix series appears alongside the new Punisher, played by Jim Caviezel, and says "I'M FRANK CASTLE, I'M THE PUNISHER!!", but Jim Caviezel's version insists he's the real deal. The argument degenerates into comedy, becoming a Crowning Moment Of Funny.
Casting Gag obviously applies to bring back the Jon Bernthal version.
It can't be Alternate Self, since they don't look alike and it's not Acting for Two; Collective Identity could fit, but probably doesn't apply in this situation, so what would be the trope for arguing over who's the real thing about an identity?
