for the record, if you decide to take this to TLP it's going to need a better name. we don't name tropes after characters any more. as someone who isn't familiar with Warhammer, the trope name means nothing to me and i would have to click on it to understand it.

Yeah, so how about ""Oh, Crap!" Distraction"?

So something like the "shock and awe" tactic where you do a quick and intimidating attack to make the enemies freeze in shock as you attack them, right?

The other popular term is "Blitzkrieg".

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza

^ i think blitzkrieg is more associated with Curb-Stomp Battle, so that would probably lead to misuse.

Intimidation Distraction, maybe?

I think this is more like inverted You Shall Not Pass! when you force the enemy to stay in combat to not let HIM evade or stop your actual attack.

You've already found the one you're looking for: this is the second stardard form of Draw Aggro, where the tank-y potential target acts to draw attention to protect the more vulnerable potential targets.

But from what I see there, I think Draw Aggro is more about "piss it off and try to not die", and not "make it busy with actually defending from you".
