I'm really just unsure how to proceed here. I would like to go and clean their other pages, but they clearly don't understand ZCE policy, and the notifier I sent did sweet FA, so all it'll accomplish is getting more edits "fixed" and make it so that every page is at risk of becoming an edit war.

The fact that this person at least made an attempt to add context is encouraging. The fact that I notice they deleted the commented-out "ZCEs are not allowed" warning on WebOriginal.Rogues is... less encouraging.
I'll give WebOriginal.Rogues another cleaning and leave a link to this ATT thread in the edit reason. Hopefully that will be the tap on the shoulder they need to come talk it through with us.
I would say that you're okay to clean up those other pages in the meantime. If they continue to uncomment entries without adding sufficient context or especially if they delete commented-out warnings, that might be time to ask the mods to step in, but let's hope for the best and assume they just need a little help learning how to fully establish context on trope examples.

^ No need to tell me about the thread mate, I'm a regular there, but I find those threads too slow and underused to be helpful in situations like this.
I know it's good that they tried to add context, I was happy to see that too, but it's also true that they don't fully understand what context is and I don't like to spam people with notifiers in such a short time either, so I really didn't know how best to handle this situation.
Thanks for cleaning the page back up. That's really all I wanted, but it felt necessary to bring up the scope of their problem as well.

made a page earlier cluttered with ZCEs, which I commented-out and sent a notifier for. They went back and uncommented them all, and while they did fix several in the process, others remain zero-context. If I hide them again, I'll be edit warring. I'm not sure if they read my message or just went back to check their page, so I don't know if sending another message will help, and I also don't want to seem too overbearing.
Here are the examples they "fixed"; their additions are written in bold.
Also, this isn't the only page they've created recently (or relatively recently) that has a ZCE problem.
I do hate bringing people up here after such a short time of knowing their problem, but I think they may need a tap, or at least another person to help deal with their pages...
