Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Can we get a courtesy link to what you're talking about?
All of that sounds really sketchy, but I'd like context.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessA Lost Cloud Dreamer added "Chalk it up to lazy writing" to The Castaway Pariah's original addition, and deleted Ferot_Dreadnaught's addition with the edit reason "Unsatisfactory answer."
I also just noticed they deleted The Castaway Pariah's WMG "Trixie didn’t give Pinkie’s mouth back like she undid the other spells because..." entirely.
Ye, that's not cool. Even if it's not against any specific rules, it's quite dickish.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessOkay, I just looked at their edit history, and...yeah. Not good.
Here they added "Why? Because this website is unfair in that it only allows some opinions but not others, and also doesn't understand the hypocrisy of having articles like these while also making the rules of this page the way they are." into the note for the page.
They added Shrek and Cory in the House as anime here as a troll joke.
Added "Twilight dances atrociously" as an example of a Moral Event Horizon here, which I guess is a joke.
Think we have a problem troper here.
Edited by iamconstantineWe have WMG.Programme Note.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAt this point it seems like an edit to their general edit history may be useful

A good rule of thumb would be: "Don't meaningfully edit someone else's WMG."
It's perfectly fine to fix spelling errors, or namespace a wick.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.
I can't find a place where WMG rules are written, and I'm worried about a certain troper. Is it okay to delete WMG replies? Is it okay to change someone's reply/entry to put your own thoughts into it? (I.e. changing someone's addition "It's explained in chapter three" to "It's explained in chapter three, but it's really stupid.")
