Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.

Any YMMV trope that's marked "in-universe examples only" should not have examples listed in YMMV subpages of works.
Edited by Tenma-YuukiAs I mentioned in this query, Barrenta previously said in the complaining cleanup thread that IUEO and YMMV are mutually exclusive, with the former taking priority over the latter, and that out-of-universe wicks should be removed.
Edited by GastonRabbit Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. What tropes are you talking about? If it's IUEO and doesn't allow examples on YMMV pages, then it shouldn't be YMMV. Though I still don't understand why tropes like Crack is Cheaper can't list in-universe examples on that page and still have them on YMMV pages.
Edited by rjd1922 Keet cleanupAs of now, the three tropes that are YMMV (Audience Reactions, anyway) and IUEO are Discredited Meme (which also permits creator-acknowledged examples), Fan Hater, and True Art Is Angsty.

I seen YMMV tropes but examples are in universe only. If so, should i remove any examples on YMMV pages on works?
