This is the Old Shame form of Missing Episode if it's skipped because the creators are embarrassed about it now.
See the Banned Episode subtrope if the executives just to don't want to deal with any more complaint letters about the episode, and Harsher in Hindsight and "Funny Aneurysm" Moment if its skipped because it looks bad in context of later real-life events.

Other than Missing Episode, is there an Audience Reactions or Fandom trope for when an episode is skipped from rotation due to being just plain embarrassing?
I don't think it's Canon Discontinuity, since there's no Word of God about this, but would Executive Meddling fit?
