The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
If the character has an abnormal blood (well, abnormal in ways not existing in real life) to begin with, the character may nor be really human in the first place, which means they fit Alien Blood.
I'm interested in a "magic blood" trope, though.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza^ Huh, that's similar, but...
I should explain an example, and see if that fits either trope or the "magic blood" one.
In Everyman HYBRID, the boys discover their blood is apparently radioactive in the same way the monsters they're dealing with are, as a device that "ticks" when Slender Man is near does the very same thing when exposed to a droplet of Evan's blood.
The boys aren't supernatural or alien, they're humans going through some very strange circumstances, but their biology is still human.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI've a similar "otherwise human but with weird blood" example: On The 100, Grounders born with black blood (called "Nightbloods") are potential successors to the position of Commander. A flashback episode reveals that Nightblood came about when a scientist developed a serum that genetically modified her blood to metabolize radiation at much higher capacities than normal people. Other than this, Nightbloods are functionally human.
If nothing else fits, Bizarre Human Biology could work.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaHmm...I'm still not sure. I think I'll take it to the Launch Pad and see if anything comes of it. If the end result is to scrap the draft, no big.

Someone...well, has weird blood. Like the blood is differently colored or has some weird properties regular blood doesn't have. I know we have Alien Blood, but that covers...well, aliens and other non-humans, but what I'm thinking of is broader than that. Is this distinct enough from Alien Blood to trope, or nah?
