So just to be clear: Is it forbidden to add a new image to a trope page even if there's no previous image?

I checked, and it says that "IP isn't obligatory, but it is strongly recommended. Otherwise, the image you put up may end up coming to the forum for work or replacement."
The policy at least allows for blank work pages to receive an image without going through IP. I think it's more strict with tropes since we're more specific on what we want from their images.

They just added an image to Mr. Fanservice that is... well, terrible. The trope is about guys who are shown in scenes intended as sexual fanservice, yet the image and caption are about a Narcissist from a Disney movie who isn't even meant to be attractive. I can delete it without having to resort to the IP thread, right?
Edit: I stand corrected. They changed the image mere seconds after I posted this and it's... better?

Preferably they need to speak up. Their edit history is already 3 pages long in their first 12 hours and almost entirely are done while ignoring commented-out warnings, serial tweaking and gushing on main.

Well, hold on, before we lock this query, just to clarify: which edits should be reverted? Obviously any page where they deliberately ignored commented out notes about the Image Pickin' forum, but what about trope pages with subpages for different media? What about trope pages without subpages for different media? And should their additions of page quotes to trope pages be reverted, or are they fine as they are?
I'd punt this question to Image Pickin'; this query is a little too long to work with even more discussion.

They ended up being bounced for ban evasion; going ahead and locking this.
New Troper Autistic Kid 2003 has been going to several pages and adding new images without discussion. Normally I'd chalk this up to just being new to the site, but the fact that they're deleting commented-out notes specifically stating to go to a proper thread before adding an image seems too deliberate to chalk up to inexperience.
