Having high potential damage plus high vulnerability is Glass Cannon.
Being able to temporarily switch to a glass cannon style could be Stance System, Super Mode, or Multiform Balance.
Reckless fighting is also commonly the modus operandi of The Berserker.

All of the above for the style of attack and character, Difficult, but Awesome for the part where they become godlike in the hands of a skilled player.
Ability that increase damage (potential), but also increase vulnerability when activated.
Usually used by good players who wouldn't take damage in the first place.
