Your mama may have had eyes in the back of her head, but our admin team just can't see everything at once. It takes a village to make sure TVTropes is running the way it should, so when it comes to spotting tech snafus, dreaming up a better digital mousetrap, or just diagnosing plain old asshattery, the quicker you let us know something's up, the quicker we can address it. See a bug? Point to it and we'll squash it. Have idea for a new feature? Post in the Tech Wishlist.
NOTE: Do not post duplicate bug queries, please check existing queries to see if your issue has already been reported and then comment on it.

Things like Bookend or Gone with the Wind are not redirecting for me.

Edited by MaladyworkingWrong hyperlink in TLP drafts
The link for the troper who last edited the draft is not leading to that user's page. It works for the "Proposed by" user though.
Example taken from Sleeping With The Boss's Wife
Edited by eroockworkingTemporary Locks
When someone opens a page for editing, it locks the page. Fair enough, been like that forever. Except now, instead of giving you a small popup saying "this page is locked for the next 20 minutes," the edit button is just replaced with a lock, exactly as if it were permanently locked. There's no way to tell the difference, which is going to drive off a lot of tropers.
closed Images in forums on mobile
On the mobile version of TV Tropes, all images are pushed to the left in forums, making the left side of them cut off.
Edited by rjd1922workingNuked draft under "Launched"
Today, in checking my TLP history, I noticed that my old draft "Instant Nightmares" was marked launched...even though it was discarded. This isn't the worst, but it's incredibly confusing.
closed Redirects that are acting like Indexes.
Sliding Scale of Comedy and Horror is acting like an index, but it's a redirect to Horror Comedy.
See Film.Ravenous.
See Series.Degrassi.
Edited by MaladyclosedHaving trouble editting.
Today I've been trying to edit some work pages, but whenever I try to save I get a timedout error page instead.
I've tried seeing if it's anything on my end, but all my scans turn up nothing wrong, I've tried resetting my router, restarting my computer and cleaning my browser history and cookies, but so far nothing's worked. And everyother webpage seems to work just fine.

closedTV Tropes Connection Issues
On and off today, the website has been going up and down. Every so often, the site has been timing out when I try to go to pages or make posts. Sometimes it comes back up and works fine, sometimes it loads really slowly, and sometimes it refuses to load at all. When the site is loading slowly it is really hard to post in the forum, if not impossible. It started with a 502 Bad Gateway error this morning and the site hasn't been stable since.
workingSite data breach
I believe that tvtropes.org has experienced a data breach. On Sept 21, I began receiving phishing emails to the address that I use only for the site. These emails included the password that I use for the site and attempted to get me to send bitcoin by threatening to infect my computer with a virus.
Please take any necessary steps to secure the site and inform users of the breach.
workingItty Bitty Wiki Tools' strip spoilers tool doesn't like potholes under spoiler tags
I often use the Itty Bitty Wiki Tools' strip spoilers tool to remove spoiler tags from pages that are meant to be Spoilers Off such as Moments pages, Headscratchers, and Wild Mass Guessing. But this bug makes the task a lot more annoying than it should be.
The tool works by removing the [[spoiler:, then the first set of closing brackets it finds afterwards. If there are potholes under the spoiler tag, it'll remove the brackets from that instead, and leave the actual closing brackets from the spoiler tag in place, which makes it so everything under the spoiler tag becomes part of the pothole. For example:
- In episode 9, Alice pulls out a chainsaw and cuts off Bob's head.
would turn into:
- In episode 9, Alice pulls out a chainsaw and [[OffWithHisHead cuts off Bob's head.]]
after being run through the tool.

On the bottom of this thread I see an option for nuking though the score is 0:6 hats.

It seems like since roughly 10:29 AM EST that new edits◊ cause this formatting change on the Wiki Watchlist.

closed Search Forums
The "Search Forums" function is completely useless now. It used to work perfectly, you want to find a forum in particular, you search one of the words in that forum's title and it brings up a list of all the different forums with that word in the title. Now, it just searches all forums for if that word ever appeared in any of the posts, and it repeats the same forum for every single time that word appears.
It used to be easy and convenient, and work perfectly. I could find one particular thread with ease, only having to scroll through the threads related to that one, and the list was usually very short. Now, it's just totally unusable and pointless, giving you hundreds of thousands of results depending on what you search, and most of those are just the same threads repeated endlessly.

Change Query Wishlist's type from Trope to Admin?
'Cause it's not a trope, and it's not really what we mean by Redirect.
workingCharacter Sheet issues
I noticed on Characters.Yu Gi Oh Anime Only Characters that some character pictures are stuck above the boxes because of the !! headers, which wasn't a problem on the old layout. This also happened on TearJerker.Christopher Robin until I deleted a !! header, but obviously that can't work for characters since their names have to be listed.
workingForum Text Light grey on a dark grey background in Night Vision Mode
The forum text in Night Vision Mode is suddenly showing up as a shade of grey in posts. In Mod Posts in Night Vision mode are almost impossible to read.
The forum search, and specifically the drop-down list that is supposed to limit results to a sub-forum, doesn't seem to work very well.
For example, say I am trying to find this thread: Misused: Genre Busting. If I type "Misused: Genre Busting" into the search bar (no quotes in the actual search), the literal name of the thread, the thread does not come up in the first 4 pages of the search. Limiting it to the Repair Shop Morgue, where the thread lives, does nothing, and many threads from different subforums show up highly ranked. This makes the search tool basically useless.
