They could go the Genealogy route and you parring the students together results in kids you teach several years latter.

I'm not expecting kids after the Deeprealms got roasted on both sides of the Pacific.

Why not? Only a small segment of the fandom is analytical. As far as Nintendo and IS are concerned, Fates made a ton of money and was highly popular.

Assuming we get a major character death, which of the three paths do you think they'll choose?

• The path of Sigurd?
• The path of Canas?
• The path of Greil?

I believe they've specifically said in interviews that they don't want kids to be tied to the franchise forever. Given how much they're shaking up in this game already, I think it's fair to expect no kids.

Romance though? 100%. Just your standard "and then they got married" endings though, probably.

Sigurd and Canas should hook up to stay alive.

If Canas had been at Sigurd's side, Arvis wouldn't have been able to kill him. After all, One Piece has proven that Darkness beats Fire.

I like every character design except for Fem!Byleth. WTF is wrong with Fem!Byleth.

I see nothing wrong with Female Byleth. I like her design a lot.

Well he have seen the MC use something like a time rewind in lieu of Milla's Turnwheel.

Maybe they have some kind of time power and at a later point in the game they will have a case of Power Incontinence teleport them into the future, with the students being the same age as them and locked into the classes you choose for them.

You then find the world in an all out war and you have to fight for the kingdom whose related house you choose and the school setting is just a really elaborate prologue... or so I hope at least, because I really hope the game wll be entirely within this high-school setting.

Anyway I really hope they will let you go wild with classes, like armored priests and fist wizards. I also wonder what this leadership skill will be. Maybe only characters with that skill can lead formations?

It's not the most egregious thing in Fire Emblem history, but I will say that the difference between male and female Byleth is pretty noticeable.

Again, I've seen worse, but I do miss the days of Robin.

It's just weird to see the avatar professor being so fanservicey compared to everyone else.

Yeah, as far as fanservice goes, not seeing a Camilla-type shoved into the audience's faces was a relief to be sure. Not that she's probably not waiting in the wings to spring, but...hey, not in the trailers trying to get people to buy the game, so that's a plus.

Plus now that you mention it, Robin's clothes being entirely gender-neutral is pretty refreshing. It's the little things that really make a difference.

I'll be completely honest here: I didn't even notice the stockings until it was explicitly pointed out; I was more focused on female Byleth's face.

With the stockings in mind...yeah, the choice in clothing could've been better. Though I'm used to this sort of difference between male and female design, especially as a Monster Hunter player.

Speaking of character designs, Dorothea's design is one I particularly like.

At the very least, the fact that they haven't shoved a Tharja-archetype's tits in our faces for two whole trailers leads me to believe that if Three Houses is going to contain one of those, they at least won't be as prominent as Camilla was.

Maybe the Camilla will be that one teacher lady - she kind of looked the part, a little?

Maybe the Tharja-type character will be a guy this time. You know, to please the otome game players who like dark and brooding bad boys.

Gender-flipped or not, there will be backlash if they include another Tharja-type stalker/obsessive character or another Camilla no matter what they do. People already hated Faye from SoV and she wasn't even a Ms. Fanservice the way Tharja was. I mean, I'm alright with her, but the hate for her was and is real.
