Also, talk about the benefits/whatever of taking a day or a weekend off, or things to do when not online. TV Tropes ruining your life is nothing to be proud of.
Generally, expect the following from this thread:
- People announcing their departure or return.
- Moderators announcing a significant forum ban — not trolls or vandals, but someone people will notice and miss.
- Inquiries about an absent troper.
- Responses to inquiries about an absent troper.

How do we carry on a forum game like the guess the character game or Mad Libs if the host leaves the forum halfway through a round? Do we wait for them to return? Do we start a new round?

I'd recommend pinging the host, then if they don't reply within a few days, it's fair game for someone else to take over.

I made that post earlier because on the Guess the Character game thread, the host of the last round, @AutisticAlivia, has made it explicitly clear that they are no longer active on forums and haven't been since December of last year. Sincerely hoped it wasn't overkill to bump the thread and start a whole new round.
