...That is one of the best examinations of Bruce's character I've ever seen. If more writers actually went with that portrayal, it'd do wonders for Bruce. Hell, he could even have a damn arc. That being to start forgiving and loving himself, if only because that's what all his friends and loved ones want for him.
Of course, seeing as Batman apparently can't be happy or he wouldn't be Batman (which is ludicrous), that ain't gonna happen. Which is a shame.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundI know that in the comics, Jason was brought back from the dead because, and I'm a little fuzzy on the details, Superboy punched time and altered reality. In Batman: Under the Red Hood Ra's brings Jason back from the dead using a Lazarus Pit, an explanation that makes about 1000 times more sense. In that continuity Ra's hired Joker to create a distraction for Bruce, and then Joker killed Jason, so Ra's felt responsible. I don't know how Young Justice Jason got killed, but it seems that Ra's still brought him back via Lazarus Pit. Actually, we have a paralyzed Barbara, something that is usually Joker's fault, and a formerly dead Jason Todd, something else that is typically Joker's fault, but we barely see any Joker. And, personally, I don't think Brent Spiner's Joker is particularly memorable. The guy is a talented actor, but I vastly prefer John Dimaggio or Troy Baker.
It also handily explains why Alfred has Undying Loyalty to him and assists him in his Batman endeavors.
Alfred failed to help the young Bruce Wayne emotionally work through his loss. Even worse, in the Young Justice continuity he didn't even try because he thought it was inappropriate for a butler to be a Parental Substitute to his master.
On some level, Alfred knows he could have, should have done more. Bruce becoming Batman is a permanent reminder of his failure.
Every time Alfred sees Bruce suit up as Batman, a part of him must wish that Bruce was putting on a doctor's coat instead like Thomas Wayne before him.

Disgusted, but not surprisedDoesn't help that Bruce never got any therapy for his problems when he was a child.
Given the quality of Gotham's therapists, that might actually be the lesser of two evils.
My AO3They're either incompetent, evil, or both.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI know it'd be a ridiculously cheap move, but part of me thinks the ninja could be Wally West deep down, kept under control with the chip. Why? No idea, but Death Is Cheap in comics. But yeah, Jason Todd makes a lot of sense too, since we've basically got the full Bat Family in this season minus Damien.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit. While I don't think Wally is dead, after all there is no body and he disappeared in an universe where the multiverse and time travel exist. The idea that the red hooded ninja isn't Jason Todd feels like being in denial. Okay a bit rich coming from me knowing what I just said.
In a AMA on Reddit Vietti and Weismann conformed not all metas are descended from Savage
I just realized that in Season 2, "The Team" and Justice League are practically a single unit at that point. And we had some pseudo-Outsiders (at least, the runaway kids).
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Yeah, pretty much.
There's the possibility that Wally's in the Speed Force, kinda like how he was in the old Justice League cartoon.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.×5
Except we did see baby Damian.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Hey, 'member when Teen Titans GO! made a tribute to Young Justice?
Young Justice returns the favor. (SPOILERS.)
Context (again, spoilers): After tragedy strikes too many times, Beast Boy quits The Team to pursue acting. He gets a pair of Good Goggles and everything literally becomes TTG, but now it's Doom Patrol GO! Not only does it work because Greg Cipes voices Beast Boy in both YJ: Outsiders and TTG, they also got Scott Menville, Khary Payton, Hynden Walch, and Tara Strong as The Chief, Robotman, Elasti-Girl, and Negative Woman respectively. Oh, and the Good Goggles are a big brainwashing plot by one Granny Goodness.
Yowza.
And we should be getting reactions from the TTG crew should be coming in 3...2...1...

On whether or not there will be a season 4.

Judas Contract boys, here we come. Didn't expect the Terra nor Granny Goodness goggles reveal this early. Although the Terra reveal did work nicely as a mid season cliffhanger.
Also you're missing some skin there Victor.
A potential time jump makes sense. After all, how else are they going to get Damien and Jonathan old enough to do stuff?

Qui odoratus est qui fecit.Talia would be so into that.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Given that there has been a timeskip between every season so far, I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if there isn't a timeskip between Season 3 and the still theoretical Season 4.
Saw Episode 11's end credits. He's coming. I didn't think it was possible. I thought Episode 9's end credits scene was a cruel tease. You are not prepared.
Granny seems more intimidating as a screensaver brainwasher than just leader of furies.
Mileena MadnessIf Artemis hated her father's last name why did she use it?
Man, Kyahry Phaton is voicing every character except Cyborg.
I find it a bit weird that Metamorpho, who has traditionally been turned into his present self by Stagg, has nothing to do with the episode where Stagg actually showed up and was probably killed.

It's a tough balance.
Batman should be an ultimately heroic and generous individual who wants what is best for everyone around him. He should also be a self-loathing mess who has trouble connecting with other people precisely because he can't imagine why anyone would actually give a shit about him.
Bruce Wayne is someone who has nothing but love and compassion for everyone...except himself.
Because he will never forgive himself for insisting that he and his parents go see a movie that night.
