You could totally add that into a post.
By having a presentchat with Ron and then having a flashback. Maybe an angry present chat so it reminds you of a happier, angrier time,
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIn terms of ecto-siblings what we have so far:
Radon and James, Jane and Yuzuki, Ron and Bill, Wayne and William.
Vanessa, Adrian, Whitney, and Mark still need ecto-siblings. Its not going to come up for a while anyway but it'd be good to have it sorted.
The only ecto-sibs pair revealed in the actual RP is Jane and Yuzuki because of a letter left for them by Jane's mom.

If he ever finds out (or deduces it), he'll completely flip out.
After all, he hates Wayne. They're like complete opposites. Nurture wins.

"Only now, after being besieged by a flock of talking ponies, did he really understand what he'd lost. "We talked about who would be the most hilarious ecto-sibling for Wayne and settled on William. For the exact reason you stated.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSo, to fit with the most recent updates...the trolls won their session, as established, and created the kids' universe, but weren't able to go there...yet. I expect the ends of our rps here will have them finally getting their reward. But on the matter of our game being rigged, how would we say that works? If our kids won, it would have ended their entire universe in the creation of another one, not just their world?
"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - NarbonicWe have no idea as of yet. My interpretation is that English destroys the old world as the new one is created.
One last thing from this recent groupchat that I just thought up of.
If the kids leave the game through a gate that they cheated to make, then THE GAME'S STILL RUNNING. EARTH STILL LOSES. WHAT'S THE POINT. The game will turn into a loss because of the absence of its players. Again, WHAT'S THE POINT OF THEIR OBJECTIVE IF IT WON'T DO ANYTHING.
Digimon Digital Liveblog by Myself! Yay!Well, when the kids were first instructed to leave the game instead of going through the whole thing, we were operating under the assumption that Sburb was all part of Lord English's goal. It still can be, since we're operating under some different assumptions from canon anyways.
Also, the absence of players doesn't mean the game records it as a loss. The game isn't supposed to be left except by winning or losing it, so the game likely wouldn't have any sort of programmed response to the sudden departure of the players.

"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKI got some ideas thanks to THE POWER OF SLEEP that make leaving the game sound awesome to me.
Like, they tear down at the foundation of the game before they leave, but the straw that breaks the camel's back IS the departure. When that happens, the Incinisphere crumbles into nonexistence, the Reckoning stops prematurely, leaving survivors on Earth to rebuild. Leaving HOPE. And VICTORY.
What do you guys think?
Digimon Digital Liveblog by Myself! Yay!Huh...that might work. And then the trolls could come to earth to settle?
"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - NarbonicThis would also deal a mighty blow to LE, who may or may not retaliate and require AN EPIC BATTLE OF THE CENTURIES.
And yeah sure trolls could come live on Earth.
Digimon Digital Liveblog by Myself! Yay!Even if you halt it half-way, there's twelve confirmed asteroid impacts big enough to destroy a house. And definitely more. The Earth is going to be all kinds of fucked up.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersOh sure. I don't expect very many people to still be alive. We'll have just BARELY saved the human race. Sounds appropriately dramatic and all.
Digimon Digital Liveblog by Myself! Yay!ORRRRRRRRRRRRRR
We go through with AJB's suggestion, but the gate they take outta there goes through TIME, and with weird time shit, they get back to earth before any of the meteors hit. And because their session of Sburb is already crumbling when they leave and ceases to be, and thanks to weird time shit, the meteors never hit at all.
WEIRD. FUCKING. TIME. SHIT. It is the answer to all our problems.
"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKHey everybody, just came in to say I'm still alive, or whatever. Have you guys passed by Bill's Land yet?
I'm a ghost, you didn't see me.I thought you didn't like weird time crap as your excuse for something Teebs.
In any case, I'm fine with that idea, but I like the idea that they actually have to rebuild society postadventure...sounds like a better ending to me. As I said though, I won't complain if we go with your idea.
Digimon Digital Liveblog by Myself! Yay!Whether or not I like time shit as an excuse depends heavily on the context and how well its used. And I do not like the characters of R Ps having weird time shit powers. Way, way, way too easily abused.
"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKWhich is why I'm restricting them to being able to tell the future (in a limited way) and sending info into the past. No self-travel.
Digimon Digital Liveblog by Myself! Yay!2 things. One of which has already happened, the other is something being tossed out there for debate and discussion.
1. All the lands are connected through a "developer's hub", which is a small control room. Its accessed by completing the black jigsaw at the end of the double rainbow. You leave by entering seven coordinates and pressing the large button, which activates the doorframe, which takes you to the coordinates of your choosing.
2. The kids use the non-protected programming of the developer's hub to get into the coding and rig it in their favor, so that instead of creating a new universe, Sburb just "updates" their old one, with Earth being restored to how it was before the meteors, and no meteors falling, should they win the game.
"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKJane is a little nutty even when she's NORMAL, which makes her really fun to play. Just wanted to say that.
"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - NarbonicOMG YOU GUYS LOOK AT ALL THOSE HUGE FUCKING WALLS OF TEXT sorry i skipped some posts
A pair of eldritch abominations talk after their schemes have been thwarted.
"Teebs is a total grump, but he's usually right." - NLKlol wrong thread

So yeah.
"Only now, after being besieged by a flock of talking ponies, did he really understand what he'd lost. "
PASTCHAT: Ron and Radon meet for the first time.
This is one of the most fun chats I've ever done.
