Okay can someone here help me out? I can't get my hands on Part 3, none of the torrents seem to work.
Same with 1 and 2 it seems.

TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Who needs a torrent? Try a scanslation site. They all have good scans for Parts 1-3. Finding good scans of 4-5 takes more work, though; most scanslation sites use the infamous DUWANG translation for 4, and a seemingly good but actually somewhat inaccurate translation for 5.
Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information. You say that like it's possible to read part 4 without the Duwang translation. If so, where can I find it?

As you can see, they don't have the whole thing. You'll have to endure some DUWANG, I guess.

TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.This is where a really pricky person would suggest actually paying for the Viz version of part 3 like I did.
Course, it's very likely several volumes are out of print already and there's the fact that it's only part 3 and there's zero chance we'll ever see any other official english Jo Jo.
Anyway...
I've heard Part 8 will be something called Jojolion, but that's all I know.
Next year it'll be Jo Jo's 25th anniversary too. I vote for a one-shot ultimate Jo Jo team-up special where they all meet and in an in-between worlds dimension and have to destroy the evil spirit of Dio once and for all.
Doesn't need much plot: they all wake there, we get some goofy interactions between them, Dio appears, gloats, they do a giant YARE YARE DAZE in unison and beat him into subatomic particles.

This site appears to be good. Already cracked open the first chapter of Phantom Blood.

Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information.Chapter 1 of Part 8:Jojolion is out.

This is pretty weird stuff even for Jojo.
Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information. Why is it customary for Jojos to have more testicles than other people? This author must be gay
(oh, and this Jojo looks like a total black, like Micheal Jackson kind of black pre-skin bleach)

What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...I'm rather surprised that Araki would mention the earthquake like that—not in a Very Special Episode kind of way, but treating it as just part of the setting.
Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information.Araki lives near where the earthquake had the biggest effect.
So that's why he came up with that idea....
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...I've started a liveblog of Part 6:

Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information. After relying on fan translations for awhile, I recently bought the official Viz release (Why? Not sure. Guilt, most likely.) I noticed that the sound effects therein were left in Japanese, where Viz standard operating procedure is to translate them. I just find it odd that Araki would request for the sound effects to be kept where it seems no other manga-ka has requested the same.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Ascended Meme with the infamous WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYY, maybe?
I was about to create a new thread right before I found this one. Always good to find other fans.
I somehow feel guilty resurrecting old-ish threads, but if it's JoJo, I'll make an exception.
I just finished Battle Tendency although it does have some flaws, I still think it's probably my personal favorite manga of all time. And naturally, Joseph Joestar is my favorite protagonist of all time.
How did the first and third book get an anime adaptation, but this one didn't?

I have to admit, the way these things get adapted is very haphazard. Parts 1 and 3 got an anime; parts 1, 3 and 5 got video game adaptations. Why 2 and 4 are always skipped, I can't say.

I personally find part 2 to be the BEST PART among all
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...Hey guys. I've heard a lot about JBA, and I've been interested in getting into it (mainly because all of the music references make my inner rock fan orgasm). However, as natural for a series this big, I've getting a major case of Archive Panic. Now, looking through each of the series, I'm just wondering, is there any that I could potentially glance over through or skip outright?
The seven arcs are mostly independent, with characters from previous arcs mostly making side appearances (with the possible exception of Jotaro, Joseph and Dio). Parts 1 and 2 are more like Fist Of The North Star and feature a mystical fighting technique called the Ripple that can be used to punch vampires to death, but part 3 is what really made the series famous as combat switched to the use of Stands, and this continued throughout the rest of the comic. The whole vampire idea was also abandoned after part 2.
If you're just interested in directly following the exploits of Dio and his henchmen without going into the Myth Arc stuff about the nature of the characters' supernatural powers, it should suffice to read parts 1, 3 and 6.

- Watch
I'm not far enough in to give a complete synopsis, but I can definitely say that it's not just an ongoing story lasting hundreds of volumes. It's broken up into more bite-site parts, each with their own title.
I might warn you that Part 1 (Phantom Blood) is a bit odd. It starts off feeling like a simple drama, then gets progressively more extreme and over-the-top as it goes on. In the end, it feels more like a background story for the events that unfold in later chapters. Having said that, it has a few really fantastic parts, and it's pretty short, so it's up to you.s
So, Part 8. I would make a joke about what it is, but I think I will let Antfish do that for me.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...
