If we're going by the people associated with the pokemon we already wrote articles for, then I call Cynthia.

Okay okay! You don't have to yell. sad I don't like Ash either, I was just asking a question, seeing as how he's the Designated Hero for the Anime.

I should claim an article on one of the Gym Leaders. Should probably write up my Manaphy article first. I've just been very busy lately.

Ash would probably be a no-go. But Red on the other-hand would make a much better article. Question is whether to use his Pokemon Special persona or his in-game one...

I say in-game. I'm not a fan of the manga, though, so I'm biased.

I've already got a blurb written up on Blue in the Viridian City article I'm going to have finished tomorrow or Tuesday, but if anyone wants write his feel free to do so, anyway. I'll just keep the parts that relate directly to his being the Viridian gym leader.

The emotionless silent hero badass Red is my personal favorite red.

Maybe I could write up Bugsy. He's one of my favorites.

Whoever writes Lt. Surge needs to make a Bandit Keith reference.

Well my friends, it appears that I've failed once again to get around to overhauling that Aron Line article.

Hmm... I should get on with the Tropius biology blurb. Which leads me to have to work out how the leaves work. Early on, I had claimed Bulbasaur's bulb to be the result of a uniquely extreme form of cellular differentiation; looking at all the Grass types that are half-animal-half-plant, though, it seems it would have to be a bit more common. Symbiotic plants can only do so much.

Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?

Well, seeing as lots of Grass Types are Dinosaurs, maybe you could Retcon it into something that was passed down from common ancestors into certain species?

Maybe list them as a distinct type of Grass-type? With others like Victreebel classified as Plants outright?

I see Red as more of a folk hero/urban myth, whose story has been greatly exaggerated over time. Kind of like the Chuck Norris of the Pokemon world.

chuck norris style "facts" like "Red's pikachu is so hardcore that it can use lightning on ground type pokemon"

or would that be cutting the red/ash line too close?

NO ASH KETCHUM!

That aside, "Red's Pikachu's electric attacks can hit/kill/whatever Ground types" sounds like a perfectly usable myth to me. After all, even the manga does lend credence to Final Fantasy-level Limit Break-esque "[insert International System prefix here]-volt Attack" (eg.: "Gigavolt against fake Kyogre), so I don't see it as much of a stretch.

By the way I hope you have gifted your G Fs you know what. *wink*

↑Oh... well, you can still ship your pets. Or your Pokémon. Or even tropers, if what I've read about some thread at Yack Fest is true... [lol]

Me? No. I actually hate Valentine's — and most holidays for that case, due to excess commercialization.
