The point of this thread is to list your favorite tropers and say what makes you like them so much. Please be specific; we already have Gushing About Shows You Like if you want to gush about TV Tropes or the Forums in general.
EDIT: Chopped the list because it's now quite outdated, and there are some comments in here that only made sense back in 2009 and may have even been a bit creepy.

- Kinkajou really intimidated me at first. He does have power after all.
- Daisy singlehandedly taught me to be more willing to give people a chance even if we don't seem to have much in common. It only looks that way with us on the surface. He reminds me to give the best, most tragically ignored parts of me more attention—the parts I share with him.
- I like having Scythemantis here, the endearingly human and interesting man behind the comics, etc. You couldn't tell because I'm not very vocal, but we agree on a lot of things. I just like people like you—people who love nature as intensely as you do are my potential friends.
- Since I came here, I've taken a second look at a lot of things I'd formerly dismissed as ugly or difficult or unacceptable, and my creative work has become freer as a consequence. I'm not sure what induced this, but I know it has a lot to do with Tzetze's influence. Fact.
