The point of this thread is to list your favorite tropers and say what makes you like them so much. Please be specific; we already have Gushing About Shows You Like if you want to gush about TV Tropes or the Forums in general.
EDIT: Chopped the list because it's now quite outdated, and there are some comments in here that only made sense back in 2009 and may have even been a bit creepy.

Awww man! With threads like these, I always fear that I'll leave someone out or won't do them justice. There are plenty of people whom I like, even though I could barely pinpoint what I like about them or anything about them, really, except that I feel like they're good people, like Kris Mahai, or Arilou or Lucky, or Katrika, Nyktos, Goggles... the list goes on.
Oh boy, this is gonna be quite the undertaking. I'll need to prepare myself mentally for this! D=

... I'm so glad that I don't annoy people. I don't think I can tell you how glad. All through high school I had to choose, with two or three exceptions, between people who were kind and people who got my jokes. I was sure the former pitied me and the latter thought I was a fucking ditz. It's so nice not to have to make that choice anymore. You guys mean a lot to me.
