Yeah, I think Dr. Facilier would be just as much of an interesting bad guy in the context of Kingdom Hearts as Davy Jones.

Absolutely. The rest of the movie would be fun, too, but he's just too perfect for the series to pass up.

Seeing these huge walls of text got me like...

Vanitas is very interesting because he's such a loose cannon. How much control does Master Xehanort have over his vessels?

Speaking of movies that would be both a good fit for Kingdom Hearts and would add some diversity, I propose they use Coco at some point in the future.

I suppose its in poor taste to clog up the thread anymore.

Anyway, if there is a Princess and the Frog world we would probably have Frog Tiana for most of the story. But she might just be like Belle, Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora in the first game appearing in another world because someone brought her there.

We're also 3 princesses short right now since we only have Kairi, Elsa, Anna and Rapunzel. So we have a few more to guess as well, Tiana, Pocahontas and Merida maybe?

Also it seems our starting roster of Seekers of Darkness are Xehanort the elder, Vanitas, Xehanort the younger, Xemnas, Ansem, Xigbar, Vexen, Saix, Luxord, Demyx, Marluxia, Larxene and a Riku. Yet we also know there are some other Xehanorts like Aqua and Terra hanging around unaccounted for as well as what looks like Xion in the final roster.

So who wants to bet on who won't make it as far as the finale in favor of bigger badder Norts? My money is on Demyx dying first.

Actually he'll follow Axel's suit and get a Keyblade.

The only way I see Demyx touching a keyblade master's keyblade is if it is hitting him in the face

I mean, some of those guys getting killed would leave a sour taste since they're just being controlled? manipulated? possessed? by the old coot.

Also because death is just weird in the verse. If anyone dies for realsies it has to be Xehanort Prime.

Seeing as Larxene's planning on making Elsa fall to the darkness, and Merida's shown to be selfish enough to try and stop her mother from marrying her off by lacing her food with magic she doesn't understand and endangering her in the process, I very much doubt they'll be part of the list.

Funny idea I had,Merida will show up in Radiant Gardens speaking Scottish and argues with Scrooge Mc Duck

Sad idea:a distraught Queen Elinor + Fergus shows up searching for Merida,the heartless show up after their argument

So why did Ventus get tiny for his part in the Cinderella world? He was already fitting in with the world order.

x3 Larxene says Elsa may be one of the Pure lights they are looking for, the new seven hearts and she is testing to see if she will choose light or darkness. Also Nomura pointed out that Elsa, Anna and Rapunzel are part of said group when questioned if Elsa would be a party member and what exactly it meant by new seven hearts.

Also I'm not sure inherit goodness is the exact qualification for a pure heart, I think its just no Darkness is there.

Boo is also a possible choice, although if she is I think Nomura may have said so when he pointed out Elsa, Anna and Rapunzel.

As I said before, it would be a great idea of Simba and Ariel turning into Heartless and placed under the the villains' control. That should be karma for them since they brought it on themselves for their own actions in their respective sequels, Simba's Pride and Return to the Sea where darkness has taken over their hearts.

Simba turning into a Heartless for exiling Kovu and being betrayed by everyone around him, and Ariel turning into a Heartless for snapping at Melody which not only caused her to run away, but also Sora telling her that their friendship is officially over as a result.

You know what Dr. Finklestein, who was brainwashed by Oogie in The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge at the time said "Your friends are now your foes."

So since he'll be in the game, I wonder... is Davy Jones technically a Nobody, since he's a body without a heart?

People have been wondering that for ages. I guess now that he’s actually in, we’ll see how they handle it.

I mean there was no Heartless right? So if he is a Nobody then he would be a very special one like Namine wouldn't he?

This would presumably also apply to the Te-fiti and Te-ka part of Moana too.

A cool sort of thing for a Moana world would be Sora thinking Tamatoa's a good guy at first because to my knowledge, he hasn't run into any Light Is Not Good types.

Tamatoa is kind of a giant man eating crab that hates humans though.

Yeah, the only light-related thing about him is his bedazzled shell.

The difference here is that it's not a physical heart that spawns a heartless/Nobody,losing hearts in this game is like losing part of your soul so I don't think Davy joins counts since his soul is bound to the Dutchman and Calypso

Davey Jones's physical heart is also a metaphysical representation of his emotions like a Kingdom Hearts heart to though isn't it?
